Tournament Safety Information
Hi Everyone,
Thanks for joining the Orange Ball tournament at EBRC. We want to make this a wonderful experience for your young player. As you know, we are running the tournament via the MatchTennis App as a safety enhancement. Additionally, we have other measures that we are required to administer.
Via the governor's guidelines we must maintain a 25% capacity ratio inside the building. Luckily we also have PlaySite at our facility so you can watch matches online. Here are some of the admin measures we will maintain:
- Some of you may need to watch your player's match from your car, outside the building. We can alternate if needed - Masks must be worn at all times in the lobby (players and spectators) - Once players are on court they can remove the masks. We will have court monitors to help with any match issues and social distance requirements.
- We will give players 3 balls each. They will mark and identify their balls with a magic marker and serve with their balls only until their tournament is complete. Then leave the balls in a box in the lobby.
- We have hand santizers on each court and recommend each player utilize it when their match is complete
- Even though we have precautions, we ask that you remind players to keep their hands away from their face. We encourage you to give them head bands, hats, towel, wrist bands in to deal with sweat if needed
- We may have other admin requirements we can articulate at match time
