USTA/Midwest COVID-19 Safety Procedures
The COVID-19 procedures and policies in place by the USTA/Midwest Section for this event are as follows: * First and foremost, if you are not feeling well, please withdraw from the event. If you are a spectator and not feeling well, please stay home. * Player +1 for the entire event. Only one person is going to be allowed with each player. * The water fountains will not be accessible for the duration of the event. Please bring plenty of water for matches. * Social distancing will be strongly encouraged in addition to wearing a face mask. * We encourage bringing your own chair to watch any matches outdoors. * Do not enter the facility until 10-15 minutes before your scheduled match time. * There will be no handshakes at the conclusion of matches. * Once match results have been turned in, we request you leave the facility immediately. Only players are to approach the tournament desk. Please keep a safe distance when doing so. * All tournament staff will be wearing masks.

Important USTA 2021 Changes
The USTA will be launching a new, simplified nationwide junior tournament competitive structure in January, 2021. These changes will create a standardized system that will drive greater consistency for our players, parents, coaches, tournament directors and officials. These changes will help better address the needs of all our constituents with the goals of driving growth in USTA Junior Tournaments. PLAYER SELECTION & SEEDING
This tournament will use USTA/Midwest Points Per Round for player selection and seeding. Players will be selected for the tournament in the following order: All 16 players based on a 100% reliable UTR. Players will be seeded for the tournament in the following order: All 4 seeds are done using UTR. MATCH SCORING/DRAW SIZE
16 Player Compass Draw. Main draw matches are a full 2 out of 3 tiebreak sets. All consolation matches are best of three tie-break sets with a 10-point tie-breaker in lieu of a 3rd set, including playoff. 16 COMP.

PLAY SITE LOCATIONS & PRACTICE COURTS

Matches will begin at 8:00 AM on Saturday and Sunday
Players may reserve a court on Friday at a fee of $15.00 / hour.
Practice courts will be available Saturday and Sunday morning before play begins. Players are not allowed to reserve courts on Saturday or Sunday. It is first come, first serve. Please accommodate up to 4 players on court. Practice courts will be available from 6:30 - 8:00 AM.

TOURNAMENT HOTEL INFORMATION
We do not have a hotel sponsor for this event. However there are several hotels within a 10-15 minute drive of our indoor facility.

TOURNAMENT FEES
1) If your credit card has been declined, please contact the tournament director immediately. You have until noon Monday to pay the entry fee. The tournament director has the option to withdraw you from the competitors list if you have not communicated with them. 2) No refunds after player selection.

Written Notification Requirements for Withdraws
After play starts, any player coded as "Withdraw" or "Walkover" on the draw sheet, the player must fulfill the following written verification requirements.: Illness or Injury: The required written verification of an injury or illness must be from a medical professional and must be received by the tournament no later than the last scheduled day of the tournament. Personal Circumstance: If the player is withdrawing because of a personal circumstance, the player must deliver a written description of the situation no later than the last scheduled day of the tournament and the Referee will determine whether the situation is a personal circumstance.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to specified residents only. Entries must be submitted by Thursday, November 26, 2020 11:59:00 PM Central Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
