Tournament Update - 12/2/20
Parents and Players,
Thank you for your patience. Draws and times will now be posted onto the tournament home page. Please check your draws carefully. Due to the number of players and the different clinics and activities at the PATC, we had to limit the max number of players in our draws to 24. We also closed all entries once entries closed so that selections were only from the pool of registered players. Selections were based on Midwest standings in each age division, followed by a draw of names from the pool of any unranked players.
Due to court restrictions, we will also be playing all main draw matches as 2 out of 3 sets with a 10 point tiebreak played in lieu of a third set. All Consolation matches for the Boys 14, Boys 18, Girls 16, and Girls 18 Singles will be 8 game pro-sets.
Green Ball players will play 2 out of 3 sets with a 10 point tiebreak in all of their matches this weekend. Green ball events will start and finish Saturday.
Due to COVID-19, we are asking all players and parents to adhere to the following guidelines: *Please do not attend/compete in the tournament if you are not feeling well or have been experiencing COVID-19 symptoms. *Players and Parents are required to wear masks/face coverings at all times throughout the common areas of the club. Players do not need to wear their mask once they go on court. *Parents and Players are asked to leave the club after matches are complete and scores are reported, this is to minimize the number of people up in the mezzanine area and to promote social distancing. *Players are limited to one spectator each in order to maintain safe social distancing. *Restrooms are available on the ground level. Locker rooms are closed at this time as well as drinking fountains. Please come prepared with water and dressed. *Benches have been removed from courtside, players may sit on their coolers or on the ground. No chairs will be allowed on court. Scorecards are available on court but we do ask that only one player change the scorecards during the match.
We thank you for following these guidelines. We do hope to continue to offer these events so long as the safe practices are being followed.
