IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ALL PLAYERS & PARENTS!
The health and safety of our USTA Eastern family is of utmost
importance. In light of heightened concerns surrounding the
COVID-19 virus, USTA Eastern is suspending all sanctioned junior
and adult tournaments, adult League matches and Junior Team Tennis
matches effective immediately for the entire section up to and
including April 1st, 2020. We will continue to monitor the
situation and determine whether to extend the suspension beyond
this timeframe in the next few weeks. We will also be working to
create a plan to reschedule these events in the near future. Thank
you in advance for your patience.
All ongoing communications about COVID-19 and this information will
be shared at
https://www.usta.com/en/home/stay-current/eastern/coronavirus-update.html
We greatly appreciate everyone's ongoing support and dedication to
the sport in a very difficult and challenging time.

Attention ALL Players & Parents!
This is the latest press release from the USTA...
It's difficult to keep track of everything that has been canceled
due to the COVID-19 virus, but so far we have not heard of any USTA
events that won't be held for that reason.
Based on the latest information, we currently aim to continue
tennis play as planned and not cancel or suspend scheduled matches,
programs, or events in the section.
USTA Eastern said is continuing all matches, programs and events.
The traditional handshake upon completion of a match is out,
however.
All of this is subject to change, of course.
