Tournament Protocol
SPECTATOR
You are
allowed ONE spectator per player, whether coach or parent/guardian/sibling.
The spectator may change from round to round. Please advise
the TD. If you have a special need with a younger sibling on site, let me know.
ICE and
WATER
Water
and Ice are available
CHECK
IN
Arrive
on site and check-in ONLY 10-15 minutes prior to your match. Otherwise, wait in
car, etc.
MASKS
Mask must always be worn inside. No medical exceptions.
Player
must wear mask until reaching court. If you approach the desk, an
official, or a volunteer, you must have on a mask.
ON
COURT
If you
are on court, no mask required for play.
Once
you reach the court, follow the social distance protocols the best you can. Sit six feet apart from opponent.
AFTER
MATCH
Put on
mask.
Bring
tennis balls (do not let them clutter at court) to desk.
Use
social distancing. Speak up. Report score.
Wash
hands! Hand sanitize.

Notes
Girls Orange ball players will begin play at 10am
Boys Orange ball (Red Flight) will begin play at 10am
Boys Orange ball (White and Blue Flights) will begin play at
1:00pm
Coed Green ball will begin play at 1pm
Green ball participants will be competing outdoors
All matches will play 2 out 3 short sets to 4 with a 7 point match
tie-breaker if players split sets
This event is open to children aged 7-10 years playing in the
orange or green ball events. Please check in 30 minutes prior to
your first match. Event organizer can tell you the time the
tournament will start, but your match time will not be finalized
until the day the draws are released.

Hello and WELCOME to the USTA Missouri Valley Youth Progression system!
All official USTA Missouri Valley Youth Progression tournaments are called 'SMASHERS' tournaments and will be using Orange balls and/or Green balls. Participants in Smashers tournaments should be able to serve and rally prior to registering and playing in a tournament.

This tournament is part of the Youth Progression tracking system. Players will receive stars and/or trophies for competing which will be reflected on their "My Tennis Page" when the system updates by USTA National.

Player Selection TypeNo Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.
Entry TypeEntry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Wednesday, November 11, 2020 3:59:00 PM Central Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
