Player information
10 Orange Play will be a Short Set “first one
to win 4 games “with No- Ad Scoring.
Consolation matches will follow main draw. A short rest will be taken between matches. Tournament
will play to completion Friday.
10 Green Play
will be 1 set – first to 6 games with a tiebreaker at 5-5. Consolation matches to follow. A short rest
will be taken between matches. Tournament will play to completion Friday.
12-18&under
Matches will be 2 tiebreaker sets NO AD with a third set 10 point tie breaker if sets
are split.
Please arrive 20 min
before your scheduled time.
We have water on the
courts but no cups- Be sure to bring a water bottle

Tournament Matches may be spread over the Friday- Sunday. Draws
maybe be limited.
Please use pull down draws for schedule for 12-18 and under.
Matches will play a shortened match format. A 10 point super
tiebreaker instead of a 3rd set
Tournament is a FIC, which means that any player that loses in
his/her first match will be scheduled for a consolation match. All
players are expected to play all scheduled matches. Consolation
play be stopped after all players have played at least two matches,
number of consolation rounds will be based on draw sizes and court
availablity

MAS Regulations and Ranking Points This tournament operates in accordance with the rules and guidelines listed in USTA Mid-Atlantic Regulations and USTA Friend at Court. By registering for this event, players and parents are agreeing to be familiar with and abide by all aspects of the MAS Regulations to include meeting sportsmanship expectations, all aspects of fair play, and respecting the game of tennis.

MAS EVENT REFUNDS Member organizations are not required to refund players for tournaments affected by inclement weather. Per MAS regulations, in the event of inclement weather a tournament may utilize a shortened format in order to play the tournament to completion. If the tournament cannot be played, it is the MAS recommendation that players be offered a credit to a future tournament hosted by the same organization. However, this is only a recommendation and not a policy. Each member organizations shall post their refund policy on the tournament homepage.

PLAY TO COMPLETION As per MAS Regulations if a player does not intend to play a match, the player must notify the tournament director within one (1) hour of the end of the previous match of his/her intention not to play. Failure to do so will result in a Default/no show code for the match; five (5) penalty points on a player’s record; loss of points for the tournament; and the event will not count toward the player’s Endorsement List eligibility. TWO (2) PENALTY POINTS will be assessed to players who do not play any/all scheduled matches.

SMALL DRAWS: For Draws with 5 or fewer players, a Round Robin Format is recommended. Draws of 5-8 will be FIC semifinals played to completion with the consolation winner receiving third place points

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, November 24, 2019 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
