WELCOME TO THE FRANK VELTRI TENNIS CENTER
The Frank Veltri Tennis Center is one of the premier public
facilities in the country with 26 lighted clay courts and 2 hard
courts. Free Public Wi-Fi is available in the Pro Shop/Players
Lounge. Locker rooms with showers are available on-site. The Veltri
Tennis Center is the site of the USTA Orange Bowl International
Championships, May ITF Tournament J4, USTA Girls 14 Clay Court
National Championships and several other USTA
tournaments.
ACADEMIES, GROUPS & FAMILIES
If you are playing with a training partner, academy team or
group, please advise the Tournament Director IN ADVANCE so you can
be split up in the draw. Please send an email with the Tournament
ID in the subject line to CMontana@BrowardTennis.org with names.
Please note this must be done BEFORE the DEADLINE.
TOURNAMENT RULES
AFTER THE COMPLETION OF THE MATCH, BOTH PLAYERS SHOULD GO
IMMEDIATELY TO THE TOURNAMENT DESK TO REPORT THEIR SCORE AND TO
MAKE SURE IT'S ACCURATE. PLEASE NOTE THAT NO CHANGES WILL BE MADE
ONCE THE INITIAL SCORE WAS RECORDED.
DIRECTIONS TO THE FRANK VELTRI TENNIS CENTER
The Frank Veltri Tennis Center is located in Plantation between
Pine Island and Nob Hill (If your going West on Broward Boulevard
make a Right on Central Park Drive and if you're going East on
Broward Boulevard make a Left on Central Park Drive). DO NOT USE
MAPQUEST.
SPECTATORS
During the Tournament, spectators must remain in the provided
bleacher areas.
REFUND & WITHDRAW
There will be NO REFUND or CREDIT after the tournament deadline.
If you need to WITHDRAW PRIOR TO THE ENTRIES CLOSING, please use
the EDIT REGISTRATION/WITHDRAW button on the TennisLink Tournament
Home Page prior to the DEADLINE.
LIGHTNING DETECTION SYSTEM
The City of Plantation's Central Park Complex is equipped with
an automatic ThorGuard Lightning Detection system. 1 LONG Blast
means to suspend play and seek shelter, 3 SHORT Blasts means
all-clear
Player Selection TypePlayers are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry TypeEntry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Friday, March 20, 2020 11:00:00 AM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
