Notes
This is a GA Level I state championship, which awards the
highest USTA Georgia standing/ranking points. In addition, players
receive Southern (STA) points. For more information, review the

The tournament will run SAT - TUES, unless there is rain which
may extend the tournament through WED.
The Ga State Adult/Sr Open returns to Historic Bitsy Grant. ALL
EVENTS including the OPEN will be played on CLAY. In case of
inclement weather, lights may be used as well as different surfaces
if needed.
All main draw matches will be two tiebreak sets with a 10-point
Match tiebreak used in lieu of a third set due to the extreme heat
in July and August. All draws larger than 16 will play twice on
Saturday down to the quarterfinals, with quarterfinals scheduled
Sunday, semi-finals Monday and finals Tuesday. Smaller Draws will
finish earlier. (Wednesday will be a rain date only.)
A Player's Cookout Lunch will be Saturday, July 25 from 11:00 -
3:00pm at BGTC. Guest fee is $10. Adult beverages will be
available.
Prize $$ for Mens/Womens OPEN Singles & Doubles
Prize $$ in the Open singles is a minimum of $1000 w/ $500 for the
champion, $250 finalist, and $125 for semifinalist. There will
be $500 Doubles prize. Doubles $$ are $250 Champion, $150
Finalist, and $50 semifinalist. Singles Prize $$ may be
proportionally reduced if minimum 16 entries in each draw is not
met. Doubles $$ may be reduced if minimum of 8 teams is not
reached.

Sanctioned
NTRP tournaments will now count toward s player’s “computer” rating at year-end
(used for league play) and NTRP tournament-only players will generate a
tournament exclusive (‘T’) rating after playing 3 or more tournament matches.
