SUNDAY RAIN DELAY
ALTHOUGH RAIN STOPPED QUITE A BIT AGO, LOOKS LIKE COURTS ARE TAKING LONGER TO DRY (NO SUN, NO WIND, NO WARM). AS A RESULT WE ARE DELAYING MATCHES BY 30 MINUTES. TIMES HAVE BEEN UPDATED ON THE DRAWS.
|
SUNDAY WEATHER UPDATES, IMPORTANT!
For Sunday events, there are two possible weather issues: *Rain - one band of rain has already gone through the area. Another is possible around 6:45 AM. We will make a decision about delay if needed by 7 AM if possible. Of course, on days like this, it may start to rain right at 7:15 AM, so we just have to do our best. Thank you for your patience! Rain policy is below. If you would like to receive text messages regarding tournament weather updates, please text/dial 84483 and send the following message: DLTennis. If you have successfully signed up you will receive a confirmation text within a few minutes. I will also post via email and on the tournament homepage. *Temperature - it is supposed to be about 10 degrees cooler today - pretty nice tennis weather, but cooler for spectators and means layers for players while they are off court and/or warming up!
