9/21-22 CAPITAL CLASH Qualifying Information
The Northeast Capital Clash is a Team Tournament where the Middle States, New England, Eastern and Mid-Atlantic Sections each send their best 10U players (4 girls and 4 boys) to the Junior Tennis Champions Center in College Park, MD for a weekend of round-robin singles, doubles and mixed doubles team play. It will be held on 9/21-22 - the weekend following the MAS Open.
The *finalists* of the MAS Open Singles Draws (2 girls and 2 boys) are automatic selections for the MAS Capital Clash Team.
The remaining MAS Capital Clash Team spots (2 girls and 2 boys) are discretionary pics using the all-factors method to select the very best MAS kids who have not yet turned 11 - considerations will include 10U results, 12U results, head-to-head results, prior MAS Capital Clash Team participation, UTR and sportsmanship.

DOUBLES *Please Check Pairings* - Dream Teams are coming at 7:30pm!
Dear Parents,
At 7:30pm amazing Dream Teams will be created with all kids that are NOT mutually paired with another player on the Competitors list. https://tennislink.usta.com/tournaments/TournamentHome/Tournament.aspx?T=234391#&&s=5
If players are not mutually paired (meaning one player has indicated a partner but the other has not) there's a very good chance they will not be partners after the Dream Team magic formula has been run.
ONLY REPLY TO THIS EMAIL if:
* your child has a mutually agreed upon partner but that is not reflected on the list of Competitors
* or if someone has selected your child but you have not agreed to that pairing Absolutely no changes will be accepted after 7:30pm.
PS - the singles draws and match times for the first two rounds have been published.
Thank you!

Doubles Partner Information
On the BLAST Tour all kids play singles and doubles and "no partner = no problem" because we create doubles dream teams so you do not need to register with a doubles partner!
If your child needs a partner simply register for the tournament and then email issem@mas.usta.com with DREAM TEAM for "your child's name" in the subject of the email.
Example Email Subject: DREAM TEAM for John Smith
If your child does have a doubles partner - that's great! On this tournament homepage under "Edit Registration" click on "Indicate Doubles Partner". *Both* players should indicated that they are partnered with one another.
Anyone who has not indicated who their partner is by midnight Tuesday 9/10 will be assigned a Dream Team partner. Yay!
