Check Draws Before Leaving. Some Match Times Have Changed
Just a quick reminder to check your draws before leaving for
the event as some time have changed. Also for anyone who is playing a
match on Friday there will be heavy commute traffic beginning in the early
afternoon on Highway 80 from Fairfield to Dixon so give yourself lots of time
to get to Woodland.

PLAYER SELECTION PROCESS
The draw have been limited. If there are more applicants then the specified limit, players will be selected in the following manner: In accordance with the USTA
NorCal Adult Tournament Rules, in a limited draw Adult Tournament, the
Tournament Committee may select up to 25% of the entries of each draw at their
own discretion and the remaining 75% of the entries shall be selected by lot.
In the event the Tournament Committee selects fewer than 25% of the entries,
all remaining entries shall be selected by lot.

MATCH FORMAT
The match format for singles will be two out of three tie break sets, 3rd set is a 10 point tiebreak. There will be a 3/4 playoff match.

WITHDRAWALS
Players
needing to withdraw after the entry deadline should contact Phil Cello, Tournament Director at
cellotennis@comcast.net or by phone 707-853-0915. If you do need to withdraw
please contact us as soon as possible so that we can notify your opponent.

TOURNAMENT DESK CHECK-IN
Please check
in at the tournament desk at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled match
time. If you are late, regardless if a court is available, you will be
penalized one game for each 5 minutes you are late up to 3 games or fifteen
minutes, after which you will be defaulted. Exceptions are at the discretion of
the referee and/or tournament director.

COURT-SIDE VIEWING AND SEATING:
We suggest that you bring a portable chair/s as
there is limited permanent seating around the courts. The courts are situated in a very nice park. Bring a blanket and picnic lunch!

TOURNAMENT BACKGROUND/INFORMATION
The Cello International Tennis Academy has teamed with the Woodland Park and Recreation and the Woodland Tennis Club to help promote tennis in Woodland. Hosting adult and junior tournaments is part of that effort. A portion of the proceeds from these events will go to the Woodland Tennis Club to help in their efforts to promote tennis in Woodland. Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
