DUE TO Early Morning COLD Weather all scheduled matches will be
delayed by two hours.
Notice- no matches on Sunday will not start until 11am due to the
weather.

Consolations will start after 4pm.
Reminder about match format:
Semi-final and final two out of three 6-game sets. Full set
for the third.
Orange Ball - best two out of three 4-game sets. 7-point
tie-breaker for the third.
Consolation format: 8-game pro-set. 7-point tie-breaker at
7-7.
Please check-in 15 min before your match.
Consolations will be played Sunday, March 18th. Please sign-up for
consolation after your match at the tournament desk.
Match Format:
12-, 14-, 16-, 18&U - best two out of three 6-game sets.
7-point tie-breaker at 6-6. 10-point tie-breaker in lieu of third
set. Semi-final and final two out of three 6-game sets. Full
set for the third.
Doubles - 8-game pro-set. 7-point tie-breaker at 7-7.
Orange Ball - best two out of three 4-game sets. 7-point
tie-breaker for the third.
Consolation format: 8-game pro-set. 7-point tie-breaker at
7-7.
All the matches are played with no-ad scoring.
Tournament matches will be played as long as outdoor temperatures
are at least 40 degrees (considering windchill) each day, long
enough to get the tournament played (for at least a few hours each
day). It does not have to be 40 degrees in order to start matches,
but overall 40 degrees that day. Please be sure that players are
available BOTH days. Refunds/credits will not be issued if play
cannot occur on the first day and player is not available on the
second day. If weather is bad both days, players will be issued a
credit for a future outdoor ASM tournaments.

MAS Regulations and Ranking Points
This tournament operates in accordance with the
rules and guidelines listed in USTA Mid-Atlantic Regulations and USTA Friend at
Court. Players are eligible to earn ranking points from this event based on the
point tables found in the USTA Mid-Atlantic Regulations. Points are
awarded based on the level of the tournament and the draw format. Main draw and
consolation points may vary based on the draw format used. For example an FIC
vs FMLC.

MAS Intermediate Level Tournaments (ILT) LEVEL 5 TOURNAMENT
QUALITIES
Recommended for Advanced-Intermediate players who have had repeated success at
L6. L5 tournaments are an introduction to advanced competition.
Individual divisions are completed in 2 or 3 days (Ex1. Sat+Sun. & Mon if
needed. Ex2: Fri if needed & Sat+Sun.). )
Match Format: Singles = 2 Sets with a match tiebreak in lieu of a 3rd set.
Doubles = 8-Game ProSet
Draw Formats:
Outdoor Season (mid-March thru October): FIC, RR or Compass.
Indoor Season (November thru mid-March): 2-Match Guarantee Recommended.
