All scoring today will be shorts sets with no ad scoring due to early morning delays, and further possible weather.
All Main Draw and round robin matches please report to play at 10:45 am for 11:00 am matches.
All Consolation matches report at 11:45 am for 12:00 pm (noon) matches.

Playing Format & Scoring
Format: 2 out of 3 tie-break sets with a 10 point tie-break in lieu of the 3rd set for 12,14,16,18 age group. Green Level 10s 2 out 3 short sets, with a 7 point tie-break in lieu of 3rd set. Will be 3/4 playoff for main draw, and consolation will be played through to semis except 18s boys through to final.

Each draw will be limited to 16 players with an Feed in thru Quarterfinals (FICQ) and a 3/4 playoff

NO Late Entries
No entries will be taken after the online tournament deadline. Only online entries will be taken.

Tournament Deadline Thursday April 5th
The deadline for all North Carolina Level 3
tournaments is the Thursday, the week before the tournament. This deadline is,
Thursday April 5th at 11:59pm. Please sign up ahead of time. No late entries
are allowed in North Carolina Level 3 tournaments.

Selection Process
Players will be selected based on the most recent published NC standing list. Players
must have some standing points in order to be considered to compete in a
NC L3 tournament. If players do not have a standing, they should
compete in a NC L5 event. The names of players who have been selected will appear as “Competitors.”
after the tournament deadline when selections are made. Contact us immediately if you realize that you cannot participate.

Singles
Singles play will not begin before Saturday at 8am. Match format will
be two out of three sets with the 10-point match tiebreak used in lieu
of the third set.

Doubles
Doubles play will begin Friday at 5:00. All doubles will be 8 game prosets and be completed Friday evening.

Please arrive 30 minutes before scheduled match time. After checking in at the tournament desk please stay within earshot.

8 and under Tournament Saturday @ Cary Tennis Park
Intermediate Division Starts @ 1 pm. Please check in by 12:45 pm. Rally Ball Division Starts @ 3 pm. Please check in by 2:45 pm.
8 &
under Tournament Rally Ball Division:
The Rally Ball Division is designed for beginner 8s players who have little
to no tournament experience. Matches will be played
on the 36ft courts with Wilson Red Balls. Players are required to use
racquets that are 23 in or shorter (all racquets will be measured at
check-in). Points will begin with a drop hit into any part of the court. From
there, all normal rules of tennis will apply. They will play 2 out of 3 games
to 7 points, win by 2. The tournament will be completed in a matter of a few
hours.
8 & Under Tournament Intermediate/Advanced Division:
Matches
will be played on the 36ft courts with Wilson Red
Balls. Players are required to use racquets that are 23 in or shorter (all
racquets will be measured at check-in). Serves must go diagonally into the
correct box. First serves must be hit out of the air into the correct service
box, second serves can be hit off of the bounce still into the correct
service box. Scoring will be 2 out of 3 games to 7 points, win by 2 points.
Players will serve two points each. A change of ends will occur after each
game. Players are placed in this division by default.
*We will post official start times for the 8 and under tournaments on Thursday, April 14th, at 1 pm.

NCTA Rain Policy
NCTA Rain Policy for all sanctioned tournaments 1. Any division where play has begun – no refund 2. Any division where no play has begun – a partial refund after deductions for actual expenses. 3. All completed scores must be reported. Incomplete matches are recorded as ABANDONED( match started but Referee decided not to complete) matches. Matches never started are recorded as UNPLAYED 4. It is at the discretion of the tournament committee if the entire tournament is canceled due to inclement weather. 5. Check the alternate scoring methods for inclement weather

Turn left onto Morrisville Carpenter Road. Go 0.1 miles. Turn right onto Carpenter-Upchurch Road. Go 1.5 miles. Turn left onto Louis Stevens Drive. Go 0.8 miles. Turn left into Cary Tennis Park.
From south of Cary to Cary Tennis Park: On NC 55, cross US 1 at Apex and continue on NC 55. Go 6 miles. Turn right onto High House Road. Turn left onto carpenter upchurch rd, Turn right onto Louis Stephens Dr. Turn left into Cary Tennis Park (2727 Louis Stephens Dr).
From southeast of Raleigh to Cary Tennis Park: From Interstate 40 West coming into Raleigh, pass exit #301 and bear left onto I-40 West/I-440/Inner Beltline. Go 8 miles. Take exit #293A onto US 64 West / US 1 South (not north) Go 2 miles. Take the exit on the right onto Cary Parkway. Go 5 miles. Turn left onto High House Road. Turn right onto carpenter upchurch rd, Turn right onto Louis Stephens Dr. Turn left into Cary Tennis Park (2727 Louis Stephens Dr).
From northeast of Raleigh to Cary Tennis Park: After reaching I-440 South/Inner Beltline, continue south on this Interstate past exit #16 toward Durham.
