CHECK-IN
Players MAY check-in at the registration desk Friday afternoon from 4-7 pm at NOLTC in the upstairs ballroom. The registration desk will open Saturday morning at 7 a.m. ALL PLAYERS MUST REGISTER AT NOLTC BEFORE THEIR FIRST MATCH TO COMPLETE THE REGISTRATION PROCESS AND TURN IN THEIR MEDICAL RELEASE FORM.

DRESS CODE
New Orleans Lawn Tennis Club dress code is in effect. Boys: Traditional tennis collared shirts or New Orleans Lawn Tennis Club t-shirts and tennis shorts must be worn. No sleeveless shirts or soccer jerseys. Girls: Traditional tennis attire. No t-shirts other than NOLTC shirts. Jogging shorts, gym shorts and biking shorts are not permissible for court play. Tennis skirts/dresses or tennis shorts only. Large printed material of any kind is not permitted on any piece of clothing. An acceptable tournament t-shirt will be given out at check-in. All players must wear tennis shoes

You must
register with a doubles partner.
In
Orange Level 1 and 2 Doubles, you will receive no stars or trophies.
In Green
Level 1 Doubles, you will not receive stars or trophies but you will receive
Southern and Louisiana Standing points.
Please
check the Competitors List to verify you have the correct Doubles Status:
--If you
are showing correctly on the Competitors List, then you have nothing else to
do.
--If you
are showing as entered in doubles and do not want to play, please email the Tournament Director to have
your name taken off.
--If you
are not showing as entered in doubles and should be, please email the Tournament Director to have your
name added.
--If you
have a partner and it is not showing, please email your partners name to the Tournament Director.

FACILITY RULES
Besides fruit or sports drinks, outside food and beverages are not permitted on club grounds.
Pets are not permitted on club grounds.

FORMAT OF PLAY
All Singles
draws (12-18) will play the best two out of three tie-break sets with a Match
tie-break in lieu of the third set.
The
required scoring format, for 10's singles matches, shall be the best of two
short sets (first to four (4) and win by two), with a set tiebreak (first to
seven (7) and win by two) at 4-4 in each set, and a set tiebreak (first to
seven (7) and win by two) in lieu of the third set. We will also use no-ad scoring format.
All Doubles draws (12-18) will play an 8 game pro set.
10's Doubles matches will play a 6 game pro set.
*Short
scoring may be used in the Main Draw to catch up after weather delays.

LATE ENTRIES
We will not be accepting late entries as the deadline is on Tuesday, July 24th.

MEDICAL RELEASE FORM
USTA
requires a medical release SIGNED BY THEIR PARENT OR GUARDIAN for every player.
This form must be presented at the time of the tournament registration. Please
download and bring this completed form with you, to speed up the registration
process. Players are not allowed on court without this signed release .

REFUNDS
No refunds
after registration is closed.
If you withdraw before registration closes,
your credit card will not be charged.
If you
withdraw after registration closes, there are No Refunds.

10 & UNDER YPP
All 10
& Under Players that are wanting to play in a different division than your
rankings allow, you will need to send an email stating what level you are
wanting to enter. If you are a Louisiana player please send an email to Megan
Preusch at ltajrtennis@louisianatennis.com requesting to appeal by Monday
morning. If you are with another state please contact your local Junior
Director.
10u Court, Racquet, and Balls
Boys and
Girls 10s Green Level 1 will play on the 78 foot court using Green Low
Compression Balls. The racquet size is up to 29".
Boys and
Girls 10s Orange Level 1 and 2 will play on the 60 foot court using Orange Low
Compression balls. The racquet size is up to 25”.
The

TIMES POSTED ARE CENTRAL TIME: Entry Process is currently open Tuesday, July 24, 2018 11:59 PM -(One minute before Midnight) Entries Close Thursday, July 26th – Single seeds and draws posted to website Friday, July 27th – Practice courts open at 4 p.m at NOLTC. All players must follow NOLTC's court registration process upon arrival. Please seek personnel in the proshop for assistance. Practice courts are available at 7 a.m. before match play begins the remaining days of the tournament.

WITHDRAWALS
Withdrawal Prior to Entry Deadline:
Go to
the Tournament website and click "Withdraw" in the "EDIT
REGISTRATION" box on the right side of your screen. From there you can
withdraw. If you do not know your Confirmation #, then click "Locate
Confirmation" just below "Withdraw." We cannot withdraw you, you
must do this yourself. You will lose the entry fee if you do not withdraw
online before registration closes.
Withdrawal After Entry Deadline:
Immediately
contact the tournament director to withdraw from the tournament. You must email your withdrawal. DO NOT call to withdraw. Please send an email to jasonh@noltc.com to withdraw. If the player is not playing because of an injury or
illness, the player shall provide written verification of the injury or illness
from a medical professional no later than the last scheduled day of the
tournament. There are no refunds if withdrawing after registration closes.
Defaulting during the tournament:
You must
see the trainer and get approval from the Head Referee. Do not tell just anyone
at the desk and think you have properly defaulted. Unless you speak to the Head
Referee in person, it will count as a "No Show." WE WILL NOT ACCEPT
ANY WITHDRAWALS OVER THE PHONE. If the player is not playing because of an
injury or illness, the player shall provide written verification of the injury
or illness from a medical professional no later than the last scheduled day of
the tournament OR a visit with the onsite trainer will suffice.

Player Lunch Complimentary Player Lunch at NOLTC Sunday. Lunch is for players only.
|
Singles Draw Selection Singles draws will be limited to the top 32 players using the most recent southern standings. For entrants outside of the southern section, the discretion of the tournament committee will be the deciding factor.
|
Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Tuesday, July 24, 2018 11:59:00 PM Central Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
