Thank you to everyone for your patience on Saturday as we reworked the schedule while waiting for courts to dry. We appreciate all who chose to play in our "December" tournament and hope to see you at the SAC Junior Tournament June 28.

10:00 WEATHER UPDATE!!!
We are still planning on playing on the HARD courts at noon but the CLAY courts will NOT be playable until 2:00. So Clay courts are on a 5 hour delay from time of first match. Please check back at noon in case of another update.

9:00 WEATHER UPDATE!!!
We will now start matches at noon today. This makes us on a 3 hour delay from your original match time. We will be changing the scoring to pro-sets---8 games with a 7 point tiebreak at 8-8.

WEATHER UPDATE AS OF 7:00 AM SATURDAY
As of 7:00 on Saturday morning we are operating on a 2 hour delay due to continued rain in Spartanburg. Therefore, if you have a 9:00 match, you will now play at 11:00, etc. and this will continue throughout the day. Please check back at this site at 9:00 for any further updates.

DRAWS ARE POSTED!!!
Draws were posted at 2:50 on Thursday, February 14. Boys' matches will be played on hard court and girls' matches will be played on clay courts. Players may have to play on alternate surfaces if the situation changes during the weekend due to weather related issues. This will be a referee's decision. DOUBLES will be played on Sunday and times will be posted Saturday evening, depending upon what players are involved in the singles finals scheduled for Sunday.

SAC WAIVER
Spartanburg Athletic Club requires that ALL parents sign a club waiver before their child can participate in the tournament. Please report to the tournament desk with your child at check-in to sign the waiver.

SC L4 PLAYER ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Any player currently ranked in the SC standings in the top 10 in the 12's-16's age divisions must play up in the next age division.

TOURNAMENT CHECK IN
Please check in 30 minutes before your first scheduled match. After that, you may check in for your matches 15 minutes early.

DRAW FORMATS
Except for round robin formats, singles draws will have a MODIFIED FEED IN CONSOLATION. All players should report their scores, win or lose, to the tournament desk. Do not assume that you are finished with the tournament when you lose. ALWAYS double check the draws on-line for your match times. Doubles will be Single Elimination.

LATE ENTRIES
Late entries will not be accepted. The deadline for entries is Tuesday, June 26 at 11:59 pm.

AVOIDANCE REQUESTS
Avoidance requests cannot be accepted after entries close.

DOUBLES SIGN UP
Doubles will be played on Sunday. Obtain your doubles partner's USTA# and sign up online before entries close. You may signup without a partner and we will randomly pair you with another player seeking a partner if one is available.

10 and UNDER YOUTH PROGRESSION ELIGIBILITY
Please be aware that this tournament has two 10 and Under Youth Progression divisions: ORANGE BALL DIVISION AND GREEN BALL DIVISION. This means that in order to play in a 10 & Under singles event, you must be eligible for the corresponding level. If you are not able to register for a 10 & Under event, that means you are not eligible for that level. To find out more information, call James Tart at (803)781-2574.

BOYS' AND GIRLS' 10'S GREEN BALL DIVISIONS
Boys' and Girls' 10's Green Ball division will be played on a 78' court using a low compression green ball. Draw format will be determined by the number of participants. Scoring format is as follows: best of two short sets (first to 4 and win by 2 games) with a set tiebreak (first to 7 and win by 2)at 4-4 in each set. A set tiebreak (first to 7 and win by 2) for the 3rd set. They will use NO AD scoring at this level of play. For doubles, players will play 1 six game set, with a set tiebreak (first to 7, win by 2) at 6-6. THERE IS NO COACHING BETWEEN THE 2nd AND 3rd SETS IN THE 10 & UNDER DIVISIONS.

BOYS' AND GIRLS' 12's-18's DIVISIONS
Singles main draw and consolation will play best 2 out of 3 sets with a 10 point match tiebreak in lieu of a 3rd set. AD SCORING WILL BE USED IN ALL 12's AND 18's DIVISIONS. If you split sets you are entitled to a 3 minute set break and on-court coaching is allowed. The player remains inside the fence and the coach talks to player from outside fence. If you leave the court you will forfeit your time to receive coaching. All doubles will play an 8 game pro set with a 7 point tiebreak at 8-8. All matches will have a 5 minute warmup.

DOUBLES DIVISIONS
All doubles will be single elimination and will play NO AD scoring. A 7 point tiebreak will be played at 8-8.

Each player will receive a tournament t-shirt but you must enter your size when you register on-line. Please remember to check the box when you register. Also include a phone number where you may be reached DURIING the tournament.

AMENITIES
Snacks and fruit will be provided on Saturday morning and lunch will be provided for the players on Saturday as well. Sports drinks will be available for sale.
