TOURNAMENT QUESTIONS

TOURNAMENT START DATE
Matches will start on Friday, August 10, 2018 at 4:30. All doubles, except mixed doubles, will be played on Friday. SINGLES MATCHES will also be scheduled on Friday.

CHECK IN
Everyone needs to check in for your first match at the site listed on the draw. DO NOT check in at The Pavilion unless that is the site of your first match. You may stop by any time during the day Saturday and pick up your tshirt. This will help all matches to get started on time. Please check the LOCATIONS listed below for the Site Legend and addresses for all sites.

LOCATION (DIRECTIONS)
We will be playing matches at two sites (10 courts total.) PAV Pavilion: 400 Scottswood Road Taylors, SC 29687 BSPGS Butler Springs: 301 Butler Springs Rd, Greenville, SC 29615

DOUBLES ON FRIDAY
Doubles matches will be played on Friday beginning at 4:30 so all doubles players need to be able to play on that day. Some first round singles matches will also be played on Friday.

MIXED DOUBLES
Mixed doubles matches will be scheduled on Sunday following singles play.

WITHDRAWALS
ALL withdrawals must be emailed to the tournament referee, Linda Sandusky.

REFUNDS FOR WITHDRAWALS
No refunds will be made for withdrawals after the deadline on Tuesday, May 1, at 11:59 pm

ELECTRONIC DEVICES
NO electronic devices are allowed to be used during a match. Please have them turned off and in your tennis bag during your match.

AVOIDANCE REQUESTS
No further avoidance requests will be accepted.

LUNCH WILL BE PROVIDED FOR PLAYERS ON SATURDAY FROM 11:00-1:00 AT THE PAVILION CHECK IN AREA.

AMENITIES
All entries will receive a $10 gift card for The Yard House Restaurant on Woodruff Road in Greenville. Fruit and snacks will be available throughout the weekend for the players. Lunch will be provided for the players on Saturday. T-shirts will be given to all players who register online. Awards will be given to Champions and Finalist of the singles main draws, to Champion of the consolation draw and Champions of the doubles.

DRAW FORMAT
Except for round robin formats, all singles draws will have a MODIFIED FEED-IN CONSOLATION. All players should report their scores, win or lose, at the tournament desk at the location of their match. Do not assume that you are finished with the tournament when you lose. ALWAYS double check the draws on line for your match times and locations. Doubles will be Single Elimination.

MATCH SCORING FORMAT 12's-18's DIVISIONS
Singles main draw and consolation will play best 2 out of 3 sets with a 10 point match tiebreak in lieu of a 3rd set. AD SCORING WILL BE USED IN ALL 12's-18's DIVISIONS. If you split sets you are entitled to a 3 minute set break and ON-COURT coaching is allowed. If you leave the court you will forfeit your time to receive coaching. All doubles will play an 8 game pro set with a 7 point tiebreak played at 8-8. Doubles will use NO AD scoring.

10 and UNDER YOUTH PROGRESSION ELIGIBILITY
Please be aware that this tournament has two 10 and Under Youth Progression divisions: ORANGE BALL DIVISION AND GREEN BALL DIVISION. This means that in order to play in a 10 & Under division, you must be eligible for the corresponding level. If you are not able to register for a 10 & Under singles event, that means you are not eligible for that level. To find out more information call James Tart at (803)781-2572.

BOYS' AND GIRLS' 10's ORANGE BALL DIVISIONS
Boys' and Girls' 10's orange ball divisions will be played on a 60' court using a low compression orange ball. Racquet size is limited to 25" or smaller. Draw format will be determined by the number of participants. Scoring format as follows: 2 out of 3 short sets using NO AD scoring, first to 4 and win by 2 games. 7 point tiebreak for 3rd set (first to 7 points wins the match, win by 2.) NO COACHING ALLOWED BETWEEN 2nd AND 3rd SETS. Doubles will be a 6 game set with a set tiebreak (first to 7, win by 2) at 6-6. Players must be able to serve out of the air.

BOYS' AND GIRLS' 10's GREEN BALL DIVISIONS
Boys' and Girls' 10's green ball divisions will be played on a 78' court using a low compression green ball. Draw format will be determined by the number of participants. Scoring format is as follows: 2 out of 3 short sets using NO AD SCORING, first to 4 and win by 2 games, 7 point tiebreak for 3rd set (first to 7 points, win by 2.) NO COACHING ALLOWED BETWEEN 2nd AND 3rd SETS. Doubles will be a 6 game pro set, with a set tiebreak (first to 7, win by two) at 6-6. Players must be able to serve out of the air.
