Saturday 11:00 AM Update
After much thought, the tournament committee has decided to cancel play for today--the forecast looks horrible, the courts are wet and drying conditions are poor...it's just not a great day for tennis. We are going to cancel all consolation draws, go to a short scoring format, and try to complete all Main Draw matches Sunday at Lakes Tennis Academy. We will publish updated match times by 2:00 PM this afternoon. As a courtesy to your opponents and the tournament committee, please email Tournament Director Sally Frame at sally10s@me.com before 1:00 PM if you are going to withdraw. Big head's up that there are no USTA penalty points for withdrawing from this tournament--we are getting a lot of questions from parents about this. Thanks for your patience with the crazy Texas weather!

Friday 5:45 PM Update--Here's What You Need to Know About Saturday's Game Plan
1. Weather updates will begin Saturday at 6:30 am and will be posted on the tournament homepage. 2. Once the courts are playable, we'll give everyone at least 60 minutes notice of the start of play--we are not going to ask you to scramble to your playing site at the last minute. 3. We are planning to play the tournament this weekend if we can get some help with the weather, so be ready to play on Sunday if Saturday is a washout. 4. If you are unable to play for any reason please email Tournament Director Sally Frame at sally10s@me.com. No phone calls or text messages will be accepted. 5. Weather delays are no fun for anyone so please remain calm and be patient with any delays in play. We'll do everything in our power to get the tournament played, including changing the tournament format (for example, canceling the consolation draws, and going to short scoring) in an effort to get as many matches played as possible.
