Baseline will be hosting a taco bar from local dinkytown restaurant Burrito Loco on Saturday starting around 3p.
Food will be available in the front desk lobby next to the stringers and is available to all players / parents / spectators etc.

MATCH SCHEDULE
Please do not message tournament staff for changes in scheduling. No accommodations will be granted.

INDOOR VS OUTDOOR
It is the intention of the tournament to play all main draw singles matches indoors. All doubles matches and consolation singles matches may be played indoors or outdoors and are at the discretion of tournament staff. Tournament staff reserves the right to change where matches are played and to change match formatting in case of inclement weather etc.

SATURDAY MATCHES IMPORTANT PLEASE READ
Players and parents, every attempt to avoid the Gopher Football game in scheduling was attempted, but in order to complete the tournament on time, matches must be played during and around the game.
Commuting and parking around the tennis center will be difficult. We suggest allowing for extra time on your commute, contacting the tournament hotline if you run into issues on your commute and consider dropping players off at the front door and finding parking elsewhere on campus. Parking ramps will either be closed for reservation only, or at increased rates. MATCH AND DRAW FORMATS
5 minute warm-up will be enforced throughout the weekend.
All singles matches will play best 2 out of 3 sets, with a 10-point tiebreak in lieu of a full 3rd set.
All doubles matches will play an 8-game pro-set, with a 7-point tiebreak at 8-8.
All singles draws are feed-in consolation. There will be playoffs for places 1-6 (no 7th/8th playoff will be played, even through the match will populate on the online draws). Consolation will be played to completion and is mandatory.
All doubles draws are single elimination. There will be a playoff for places 1-4.

All players must be available for all dates listed on this tournament home page. With often high player numbers and limited court availability, schedule requests simply cannot be accommodated. Please do not call or email tournament staff with scheduling requests. No refunds are available to players withdrawing due to conflicts. Thank you for your attention.

PARKING
Due to the close proximity of the Baseline Tennis Center to 4 major athletic venues, parking may be at event rates (up to $10.00/car) with no in/out privileges. Metered parking is available behind the building at $1.25/hr (quarters only) as available. Please consider carpooling, walking a longer distance, etc. to minimize the impact of these events. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes.

BTC Tournament Refund Policy
Refunds for tournament entry fees are offered as follows: * Prior to entries closing, players must withdraw electronically through the Tennis Link system. * After the close of entries through the business day prior to the beginning of a tournament, Baseline Tennis Center will refund entry fees for a medical/family emergency reason only. A $10 processing fee will be assessed to each refund per event. (This is based on the event fee, and does not include the $3 Internet registration fee.) * No refunds are offered for withdrawals after the close of the business day prior to the beginning of a tournament through the close of the event (i.e. 5pm Thursday for a tournament that begins Friday).

COURT SHOES ONLY- NO BLACK SOLES OR MARKING SHOES ALLOWED.
No gum and or candy on the courts.

SEEDING - The Computerized List Method will be used for seeding (FAC Comment II.A-4), based on the current standings/ranking list.

COMPETITORS LIST - ALTERNATE LIST - EMAIL
If you find your name on the alternate list, it means one of three things: 1. You did not have enough points to qualify for the tournament based on the age group you selected. 2. In the case of a Level 7, you had too many points. 3. You may have been the only player in that age group, therefore it is not being held. - Being placed as an "Alternate" means you did not qualify for the tournament based on one of the above points. - If you do not qualify for the tournament and are not selected, you WILL BE notified via the email address you provided when you registered for the tournament and your credit card WILL NOT be charged. - If you do qualify for the tournament, you WILL NOT be notified and must check the draw for start times. IMPORTANT - LEVEL 5 TOURNAMENTS All 10's events will be non-elimination format and take place on the same day. All 12's events for boys and girls within a Level 5 will be played with the green dot ball on a 78ft court. Selections will be based on the most current standings/rankings list after entries close.

Doubles will be 1 set no-ad scoring.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, September 9, 2018 9:59:00 PM Central Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
