G12s Draw changes
We have a seed withdraw in the G12s so there have been changes made to the singles and doubles draw. Please check your match times.

Outdoor Event
All tournament singles and doubles matches will be played outdoors.

PLAYER PIZZA PARTY FRIDAY MARCH 16th at 4:30PM at CTP
There will pizza provided for all players starting at 4:30pm at Cary Tennis Park (CTP) on Friday March 16th. Looking forward to a great event this weekend!!

Selection Process
Top 64 players applying from the USTA/Southern latest STANDINGS LIST. Players will no longer be considered for selection based on their lower age division standings. The names of the players who have been selected will appear as COMPETITORS. Alternates are listed in the REPORT SECTION. DO NOT REFER TO THE ALTERNATES TAB ON TOP OF THE WEB PAGE (That list is not updated).

Birth certificates/Proof of citizenship
All players must have a copy of a Birth Certificate or Green Card on file with the Southern office. Players should go to the link below to see if their name is on file. If your name does not appear here please Fax your birth certificate to 770-368-9091 or e-mail to howard@sta.usta.com. more info

Parent/Player Behavior & Medical Release
The USTA Southern Section requires a signed release covering all entrants in USTA Southern Section events. The release must be signed by the entrant and parent or guardian of any entrant who is a minor. more info

Format and Scoring
Draws will be 64 players with a Feed In Consolation thru the round of 16 format. The quarterfinalist losers go into their own backdraw and playoff for 5th and 6th place. There is no playoff for 7th and 8th place. Main Draw 12s will be best two out of three sets playing a 10 point match tie break in lieu of the third set. Main Draw 14s will play the best two out of three tie-break sets. Feed In will be the best of three sets playing a 10 point match tie break in lieu of third set. Main Draw will play two rounds each day. The Feed In draws will play one match on Saturday, two matches on Sunday and two on Monday. In the event of inclement weather, match format is subject to change.

Withdrawls
March 4 at 11:59pm or before-->Withdraw online. March 5 or later-->email your withdrawal to jake.lester@townofcary.org. NO REFUNDS will be given after the entry deadline March 5th at 11:59pm. Do not call. You must email to jake.lester@townofcary.org. Defaulting during the tournament - You must see the trainer and get approval from the Referee. Do not tell anyone at the desk and think you have properly defaulted, unless you speak to the Referee, it will be counted as a "NO SHOW".

Practice Courts
Below are the practice sites for the event. We have a very active tennis community and these courts will be available on a first come first serve basis. Please allow yourself additional time as you may have to wait for an open court.

Entering the 14's + 16's
Even though the 16's and 18's are being held in Raleigh under a different tournament code this weekend, it is still part of this tournament. So, you may enter the 14's and 16's without penalty.

Trainers
There will be a trainers on site at Cary Tennis Park during the tournament. Remember that if you default due to an injury during the tournament, you have to speak directly to the Head Referee. Speaking to anyone else will result in a "Default-No Show" for your match.

Stringer
There will be a stringer available at Cary Tennis Park during the tournament.

Balls
All matches will use Dunlop Championship Hard Court Balls.

Entering two age divisions
Players are allowed to enter two divisions in Southern Levels 1A, 2, and 3 tournaments. #1. Players selected to both age divisions they apply for will automatically be selected in the older age division. They would be removed from the other age division. #2. Players not selected to either division would remain on the alternates lists for both division but would be obligated to play the division they first get in from the alternates list. They would be removed from the Alternates list in the other division. #3. Players selected to one age division would be removed from the alternates list of the division they were not selected. #4. Once a player is selected for any one division no changes can be made.

Signing up for 2 age divisions in this tournament

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to specified residents only. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, March 4, 2018 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
