JUNIOR BASH TIME HAS CHANGED TO 2:30PM-4:30PM ON SUNDAY
Dear Players and Parents, Due to impending weather Citi Open has changed around the schedule of events in the Play Zone. Our junior bash will now take place from 2:30pm-4:30pm. All players should report to the Play Zone no later than 2:20pm. All tickets will be left in the player's name at Will Call so feel free to come early and enjoy the matches and other activities. Gates open at 9am and Citi Open matches start at 10am. Should you have any questions contact me at (631) 513-0792
As mentioned age divisions will be combined. We will have two round robins, a boys singles draw and girls singles draw. After we play singles all players will be paired up for mixed doubles. We will have timed rotations of matchplay and activities (corn hole and spike ball). Thank you for your flexibility with the schedule change. See you on Sunday!

TOURNAMENT DETAILS
This event will take place at the Citi Open in the Net Generation Play Zone from 9am-12pm. Entry includes 1 ticket for the day's matches (additional tickets must be purchased separately). Age divisions and genders may be combined based on applicants. All matches will be timed matches and use shortened formats. The tournament is non-elimination and all players will play multiple singles and doubles. The event will run as follows Kids are sent out for matches, music starts
and play begins! Music stops, play stops, kids report scores.

A NetGen TennisBASH is a tennis party with timed matches, music during matchplay, fun off-court activities and snacks! Duration = either 90 minutes or 2 hours. Match format: First to 7pts tiebreaker, minimum 2 matches.
How do I sign up? Either directly through the host facility or here on TennisLink.
Will 10U kids earn Youth Progression Awards? YES!
Singles or Doubles? Both! Generally a TennisBASH starts with singles and then organizers will create doubles teams using either the "lottery" or "dream teams" methods. Lottery = completely random teams, Dream Teams = after watching the singles organizers create doubles teams to help the kids have a fun, positive doubles experience.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Thursday, July 27, 2017 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
