Concurrent Tournament Rule
A player shall not be entered at the time entries close in two or more USTA sanctioned tournaments scheduled to take place at the same time, in whole or in part, unless each Tournament Committee involved understands the situation, concurs in writing, and each agrees to accommodate the player’s schedule. The final decision rests with each tournament committee. If one tournament agrees to accept concurrent entries and accommodate the player's schedule but the concurrent tournament does not, the player may not enter both. If entries for the overlapping tournaments close on different dates, approval must be received from all Tournament Committees no later than the entry closing date that occurs last. Players who enter a tournament and play it to completion, may then enter another tournament with overlapping dates without permission. If a player violates this concurrent tournament rule ranking points earned in any concurrent tournament played will not count toward ranking or the Grand Prix Points Race and the concurrent tournaments will not count toward the minimum tournament requirement to qualify for Grand Prix.

CHECK THE DRAW CLOSELY FOR EACH MATCH All draws are subject to change. Please recheck draws for changes in time and/or withdrawals. All changes made within 24 hrs of tournament start will be phoned to the affected parties. Make sure to have all contact info with the USTA.
CONTACT THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR FOR REGISTRATION ISSUES, WITHDRAWS [1] Until the closing of the registrations, you can withdraw yourself online with your confirmation number. [2] After the closing of registration, and until the posting of the draws, please submit any withdrawal in writing first by emailing BOTH the Tournament Director (TD) and the Referee, and then also CALL the TD (email addresses and phone numbers above). [3] After the posting of the draws, please FIRST CALL the TD and then email BOTH the Tournament Director and the Referee. [4] Withdrawals: NO REFUNDS AFTER THE TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION CLOSES!!!
EVENT DRAWS INFORMATION AND MATCH FORMATS [1] All Singles Main Events: Depending on amount of players registered, we will either play the following: A. 10-point match tiebreak in lieu of the 3rd set.. B. A full 3rd tiebreak set for the 3rd set. [2] All events: Regular scoring will be used. [3] Doubles Event: 8-game pro-set.. [4] Be on time for your matches: Check-in at the tournament desk 15 minutes BEFORE your scheduled match times and be ready to play. Penalties for lateness will be enforced.
DRAW LIMITS Draws will be limited based on overall number of entrants across all events. Estimated draw sizes are below. By USTA NorCal rule players will be selected as follows:

INTENDED SCHEDULE OF PLAY Matches for NTRP divisions may start as early as 8:30AM on Saturday, some matches may play late depending on draw sizes. If you cannot play during the day or evening, please notify the Tournament Director before entries close and we will not select you into the draw. All players are required to check-in 20 minutes before match time, and we recommend you check in earlier. Any player called and not present 15 minutes after match time will be defaulted.
PLAYING SURFACE All matches will be played outdoors.
PARKING Parking is available on-site in our parking lot or in the Sequoia Station parking lot across the road. Street parking bordering Sequoia High School is also available. Entry to the school is on James Rd.
PRACTICE COURTS No Practice courts will be available. Matches will be placed on the first courts that become available.
PLAYER SELECTION TYPE Players are selected manually by the Tournament Director after the close of registration.
ENTRY TYPE Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, August 6th, 2017 11:59:00 PM Pacific Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.

CANCELLATION OF TOURNAMENT The Tournament Committee will not make the decision to cancel all matches for the remainder of the day until at least 12 NOON of the day in question, or the remainder of the tournament until at least 12 NOON of the last scheduled day of play.

Trophies are awarded to our finalists. These awards are glass trophies and will be engraved and sent to our finalists within 14-21 days.
