Welcome to your NC Level 6 Homepage! Level 6 tournaments
offer non-elimination play over a half-day with fun, no-pressure shortened
match format(s). Players can expect multiple matches regardless of results.
Divisions include 10u-18u and are for entry-level players who want to try their hand
at tournament play!

Tournament Info
Tournament draws are published with match times. Look for your first match start time listed under Round 1 at 12pm or at 12:40pm. If you don't see your name, look in the Combined Draw. The Tournament will run Sunday, Oct. 15, 12pm - 4pm at Millbrook Tennis Center in Raleigh. 11:30am - Player Check-in (We want the player, not parent, to check-in) 11:45am - We will begin to assign courts for the first round. 12pm - First round players should be on court ready to start their warm-up. If you don't have a match in the first round (noon), please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of your first match.

Boys' 14+16 Combined Singles
In order to eliminate players having a BYE round (no match at all), we created an extra draw called "Combined Singles". If you're in the 14 Boys or 16 Boys divisions, be sure to look closely at this extra Combined Draw. Look for your name and start time.

Match Format
Each match will be a total of 7 games with no-ad scoring.
Everyone will play 4 rounds.

Reminders
This tournament is geared toward FUN and learning. Please remind your child about good sportsmanship and to come out to enjoy the day of tennis without the pressure to win or lose.
- Players should start hydrating a few days ahead in preparation for the tournament. - Bring plenty of water. - We don't provide lunch so be sure to pack plenty of snacks to reenergize between matches. - We will be popping popcorn for a light snack in between matches. - Some of our courts have bleachers for viewing but parents might want to bring chairs for those courts that don't have seating.

2017 Level 6 Tournament Voucher Program
Have you played in (2) L6 events? Ready to take the next
step and try a higher level? If you qualify – The NCTA will pay the entry fee
for your first NC L5 tournament in 2017! To be eligible a player must have
played in (2) NC L6 tournaments in 2017.

Players can test their game, play multiple matches and make
friends along the way. These tournaments allow kids to compete in a
way that makes them feel comfortable, matches their level of play
and helps them to experience success.
**L6 Tournaments do not count towards ranking points**
Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Wednesday, October 11, 2017 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
