Notes
USTA Pacific Northwest will be sending teams to various locations
for the IntersectionalTeam Championships. Only players
registering ONLINE will be considered for selection.
Application Process
1. Apply online through TennisLink
2. If you are applying for more than one event fill out the form on
the USTA PNW National Team website to indicate your event
preference. (Must be received by May 17, 2017 by midnight Pacific
Standard Time)
3. On the Tennislink online application you will be asked to select
your sizes for your team uniform.
4. Complete the "Medical Release Form" and send it back to the
Junior Competition Coordinator Trenton Corvino by May 17, 2017.
Download the form on USTA PNW National Team website. You can email,
mail or fax the form to Trenton Corvino (email preferred). You will
receive an email confirmation once we have received the form within
48 hours.
5. Complete the online "Photo Release Form by May 17, 2017. Fill
out the form on the USTA PNW National Team website.
6. Application deadline is Wednesday May 17th, 2017 by midnight
Pacific Standard Time. You must have applied online through
TennisLink and sent in all your signed forms by this date to be
considered. No exceptions will be made.
7. On May 15, 2017 the Pacific Northwest Ranking list will be
published and the endorsement list will be published on May 16,
2017. You have until 10 am on May 18, 2017 to ask about any issues
with the rankings. After 10 am (Pacific Standard Time) on May 18,
2017 that list will be used for endorsement. No exceptions will be
made.
8. In the afternoon of May 18, 2017 selections will be made final
and payment will be charged to each selected participant. No
refunds will be given after 3 pm (Pacific Standard Time) May 18,
2017 when selections are made. Once you are selected for a team you
will be removed from all other alternate lists. All selections will
be final.
9. Once selections have been made you will be introduced to your
team coaches by the week of May 22, 2017. Each team will have a
coach.

and alternates by events on the PNW Website. See the USTA PNW

Event Information
For all age divisions, players will need to arrive at the
tournament site by 1 pm June 30th for player check in and meeting
with the team. Matches will not begin until July 1st. Play will
conclude on July 5th. The USTA PNW will be sending one team to each
location. Each team will be made up of 4 boys and 4 girls.
Locations
• Boys and Girls 14U: Auburn Parks and Recreation, Auburn
Alabama
o 4 boys and 4 girls will be selected
o Fee: Includes entry fee and uniform
• Boys and Girls 16U: Pierremont Oaks Tennis Club, Shreveport
Louisiana
o 4 boys and 4 girls will be selected
o Fee: Includes entry fee, uniform and housing
Boys and Girls 14s
Juniors representing the Pacific Northwest as a member of a
Intersectional Team (B/G 14) must be accompanied by a
chaperone and are responsible for the cost of all travel,
accommodations, and meals associated with their participation in
the event. The entry fee paid by the participant in all these teams
covers the tournament entry fee and the participants' team uniform.
Please note that in order to arrive by 1:00pm on June 30th, players
must arrive on June 29th because we are traveling from the west
coast. Therefore the 2017 Intersectional Team participants will
need to arrive into their perspective sites of competition on June
29th and will depart from the event on July 6, 2017.
Boys and Girls 16s
Juniors representing the Pacific Northwest as a member of a
Intersectional Team (B/G 16,) are responsible for the cost of all
travel and meals associated with their participation in the event.
Chaperones are not required for this event. The entry fee paid by
the participant in all these teams covers the tournament entry,
participants' team uniform and first night of hotel prior to
housing being available. Please note that in order to arrive by
1:00pm on June 30th, players must arrive on June 29th because we
are traveling from the west coast. Therefore the 2017
Intersectional Team participants will need to arrive into their
perspective sites of competition on June 29th and will depart from
the event on July 6, 2017. Please note you need to coordinate with
your coach before you purchase airline tickets in order to get your
player from the airport to the tournament site.
