The 9th Annual Pam Krone Memorial NTRP Tournament - A USTA NORCAL NTRP GOLD CUP SERIES TOURNAMENT

Thank you all for your patience during our rain delays this past weekend. We managed to get everything except seven matches completed. Those that still need to be completed please remember you have 28 days from the end of the tournament to finish and report your scores. Matches that do not finish will go on record as un-played and you will only collect Grand Prix points for the rounds you completed. We look forward to seeing you all again next year.

Please make sure to spend at least 15 minutes with Stan Shiver this weekend at the 9th Annual Pam Krone Tournament. His healing hands have helped hundreds of tennis players feel better, play longer and avoid injury for years all over the country. Due to the large draw M3.5s was posted early because of Friday evening matches. Remainder of the draws will be posted by mid day Wednesday.

All semifinalists that lose in that round will play one more match for third place. The Third place position is worth valuable ranking points. Please make sure when draws are posted to be aware of the potential and timing of a Third - Fourth Playoff match in your division(s).

The Tahoe Donner Tennis Center will be offering a tournament warm-up clinic from 5:30 to 7pm on Friday, August 18th. This 90 minute clinic will give you a chance to hit all the shots and spend a bit of time getting used to the altitude. The cost is only $22 per person. All players participating in a USTA NorCal sanctioned NTRP tournament must have an NTRP rating. If you do not have an NTRP rating, please click "more info" to obtain a self-rating.

A player shall not be entered at the time entries close in two or more USTA sanctioned tournaments scheduled to take place at the same time, in whole or in part, unless each Tournament Committee involved understands the situation, concurs in writing, and each agrees to accommodate the player’s schedule. The final decision rests with each tournament committee. If one tournament agrees to accept concurrent entries and accommodate the player's schedule but the concurrent tournament does not, the player may not enter both. If entries for the overlapping tournaments close on different dates, approval must be received from all Tournament Committees no later than the entry closing date that occurs last. Players who enter a tournament and play it to completion, may then enter another tournament with overlapping dates without permission. If a player violates this concurrent tournament rule ranking points earned in any concurrent tournament played will not count toward ranking or the Grand Prix Points Race and the concurrent tournaments will not count toward the minimum tournament requirement to qualify for Grand Prix.
