FIRST MATCH TIMES - Doubles & Singles
First match times are posted in the report above. DOUBLES and SINGLES. Doubles play will be on Friday night, so be sure to check your times. DRAWS ARE NOW POSTED. Times are posted for the entire weekend, but players need to confirm their next match time at the tournament desk after each match. Inclement weather could also cause these times to change, so please continue to watch this web site for updates throughout the weekend.

MATCH PLAY FORMAT
Draw format will be First Match Losers Consolation (FMLC). Each player is guaranteed two (2) matches. If they lose their first match, then they move to the consolation draw. All main draw and consolation matches (12's -18's) will be best 2 out of 3 sets with a match tie break in lieu of a 3rd set. Doubles will use an 8-game pro set. 10 and Under match play format is listed under their tab on this page.

10 AND UNDER MATCH PLAY FORMAT
10 and Under will use the same draw format, First Match Losers Consolation (FMLC). For Boys
and Girls 10 and under, the required scoring format for singles shall be the
best of two short sets (first to four and win by two), with a set tiebreak
(first to seven (7) and win by two) at 4-4 in each set, and a set tiebreak
(first to seven (7) and win by two) for the third. They will play on a court
size of 60 feet with orange low compression balls using up to 25" junior
racquets. They must be able to serve out
of the air. For doubles, player will
play one six (6) game set, with a set tiebreak (first to 7, win by two) at
6-6.

COURT SURFACE
HARD COURTS: B 18S, G 16S, B 10S, G 10S (Orange ball and Green ball divisions). All other age divisions will play on CLAY
|
AMENITIES
Players will be provided a player gift and a cookout for lunch on Saturday (hot dog, chips and a drink). Guest meals will be available for a small fee ($4.00 for Hot dogs and chips or $8.00 for Hamburgers/chips). Lunch will be served from 12 until 2 pm on Saturday only. Players will have access to the Club's amenities during the tournament, including an indoor basketball gymnasium, pickle ball and ping pong. A drink and snack machine is available at the courts, water will be provided on the courts.

AWARDS
AWARDS will be provided for Champions and Finalist in each division in singles and Champions in doubles. Consolation winners will also receive an award.

SEEDING: SEEDS ARE NOW POSTED
State
Level 3 & 4 Tournaments Seeding Criteria:
Computerized seeding shall be done using the
results from the most recently published USTA
Southern Combined Standings Lists of the division in the order in which
the players appear on the list. A player
may also be considered for seeding if he/she meets the following criteria:

Players who have a standing in the next younger
age division may be seeded in
any group of seeds if they are in the top
15 of the most recently published USTA SC Combined Standings Lists
or up to 50 of the most
recently published USTA Southern
Combined Standing Lists of any younger age division.
·
Southern Standing in the top 300 – may be given consideration for
seeding.
·
National Standing in the top 400 – may be given consideration for
seeding.

DOUBLES
ALL doubles play will begin on Friday night (Do not email us if you are unable to play on Friday). are still accepting players in the doubles divisions through 6 PM Today (3/16/17 Thursday). Email the Tournament Director: bclary@cobblestonesc.com ASAP if you want to play. We will help you find a partner or pair you up.

REGULATIONS FOR CHALLENGER CIRCUIT
Any player currently ranked in the SC standings in the top 10 in the 12's - 16's age divisions must play up in the Challenger Circuit

BALLS
BABOLAT balls will be used for the tournament

Please be aware that this tournament is a 10U Youth Tennis
Progression event. This means that in order to play in the 10U division offered
you must be in the corresponding level. If you are not able to register for 10U
singles that means you are not eligible for that level of 10U. To find out more

Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Monday, March 13, 2017 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
