Notes
No online registration available. Sorry for the
inconvenience. All captains must fill out a registration form that
can be printed off of the Play for Luke facebook page or picked up
at Creekmore, Ben Geren, or Hardscrabble.
This is a TEAM event! The format will be the same as your levels
adult team tennis structure but you only need two doubles teams and
one singles player. For example, a 3.0 team would field 2 doubles
and 1 singles matches. You can vary your lineups just like you
would at mid-season or the state tournament! A great opportunity to
try out new lineups and get your players some match time. These
results do not reflect on your team tennis season, they reflect on
your USTA ranking.
Stainless Steel Tumbler will be included in the price for the all
players listed on your team.
On July 28, 2015, Luke Siegel was critically injured in a golf cart
accident. He suffered severe head and chest trauma and was anoxic
for several minutes. The traumatic brain injury (TBI) he obtained
has left him with the inability to walk, talk, and even eat again
on his own. The story of Luke has touched thousands of lives around
the country, and many here in the River Valley. Since the accident,
the Siegel family has incurred immense medical bills, significant
income reduction, and health care related expenses which are
overwhelming. Not to mention having to raise two young girls
simultaneously. Please honor the Siegel Family by participating,
attending, or contributing to the first annual Play for Luke Adult
Tennis Tournament. One hundred percent (100%) of the proceeds will
go directly towards Luke's recovery.
Play with the Pros - In conjunction with the tournament, we'll be
having a Pro-Am with Andy Roddick and several world ranked players
from the past along with high level collegiate players. Pro-Am
begins with breakfast at 7:30 and play will be from 8:00-9:30 am.
Players can enter a raffle to play doubles that morning with Andy
Roddick and another pro. You can also enter to win a chance to
return Andy's serve!
Not enough tennis for the morning? Join us for clinics with the
Nick Bolletieri! Cost is just $100. Adult clinic is 11:00-12:00 and
Junior Clinic is 12:00-1:00.
