It is the PLAYER'S responsibility to know his/her next match time and show up in a timely manner. Be sure to check the website often for updated match times.
IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED THAT PLAYERS CHECK IN 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO EACH SCHEDULED MATCH TIME. ALL USTA RULES WILL BE ENFORCED FOR LATENESS.

The top players applying from the USTA/NC most current standings list will be selected into the draw.
The names of the players who have been selected will appear as "Competitors."
If you are not selected, you will be on the alternate list. Please contact the Tournament Director if you wish to be removed from the alternate list.

We are not able to accommodate a player's personal schedule conflicts due to multiple players playing multiple events. If you are unable to make a match time, please email the tournament director to withdraw from that match: Maria.Mood-Brown@townofcary.org.

The Tournament Committee has decided that the posted match times will not change for personal circumstances.

Please note that matches may begin on Friday afternoon, as early as 5:00 PM. We are not able to accommodate a player's personal schedule conflicts. If you are unable to make a match time, please email the tournament director to withdraw from that match: Maria.Mood-Brown@townofcary.org.

If you need to withdraw BEFORE entries close, you must do so online. Click on "Edit Registration," then "Withdraw." You will need your original confirmation number.
All withdrawals AFTER entries close must be sent in writing via email to the tournament director: Maria.Mood-Brown@townofcary.org. Players withdrawing AFTER the tournament deadline/selection will not be refunded their entry fee.

No late entries will be accepted.

All draws will be limited to 16 players for singles or 16 teams for doubles.

A player may only enter the combination of the events below:
1. Singles & Doubles
2. Doubles & Mixed
You cannot play Singles and Mixed.
You cannot play multiple levels of the same event. (i.e. 7.0 Mixed & 8.0 Mixed)

The format is MFIC (Modified Feed In Consolation).
All matches will play best 2 out of 3 sets with a 10 point match tiebreaker played in lieu of the 3rd set. A Coman Tiebreak will be played. No ad scoring. In the event of inclement weather, the tournament committee reserves the right to change the scoring to an abbreviated system.

This tournament is a modified feed in. This eliminates the possible "bye" in the consolation first round and as such guarantees that match. Players/teams that lose 2nd round in the main draw will still feed into the consolation bracket.

All players need to have an NTRP rating prior to playing this tournament. If you do not have a rating, you can self-rate by following the directions below:

4. Follow instructions to self-rate.

Please note that the minimum age requirement for this tournament is 18 years of age, as it is an adult only event.

Mixed Combo 5.0-9.0 Doubles:
Players’ combined ratings cannot exceed the Combined NTRP level and partners cannot have more than a one (1) point difference in NTRP ratings.

If you are registering for two events, you can register for Singles and Doubles (Men’s or Women’s) OR Doubles and Mixed. You CANNOT register for Singles and Mixed. This helps to alleviate the number of conflicting matches for scheduling purposes.

This is to ensure matches start on time and the schedule does not get backed up. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

New Wilson US Open Extra Duty tennis balls will be used for this tournament.

The tournament committee reserves the right to alter scoring methods due to adverse conditions.

All matches will be played on hard courts.

* Saturday: There will be a continental breakfast and light lunch served, along with light snacks throughout the day. There will be water at the park, but please make arrangements for any additional food/beverages that you may need.

Cary Tennis Center - Water coolers are not available on individual courts. Please bring your own water containers for your matches. Both, water and ice are available at the courtyard level adjacent to the locker rooms. Ladies and Gentlemen Restrooms are located at the courtyard level, and at two comfort stations on the West and North side of the facility.

NCTA Rain Policy for all sanctioned tournaments 1. Any division where play has begun – no refund 2. Any division where no play has begun – a partial refund after deductions for actual expenses. 3. All completed scores must be reported. Incomplete matches are recorded as ABANDONED (match started but Referee decided not to complete) matches. Matches never started are recorded as UNPLAYED 4. From northwest of Cary to Cary Tennis Park: From Interstate 40 East, take exit #278 on the right. Go 0.2 miles. Turn right onto NC -55 South. Go 6.5 miles. Turn left onto Morrisville Carpenter Road. From southeast of Raleigh to Cary Tennis Park: From Interstate 40 West coming into Raleigh, pass exit #301 and bear left onto I-40 West/I-440/Inner Beltline. Go 8 miles. Take exit #293A onto US 64 West / US 1 South (not north) Go 2 miles. Take the exit on the right onto Cary Parkway. Go 5 miles. Turn left onto High House Road. Turn right onto Carpenter Upchurch Road. Turn Right onto Louis Stephens Dr. Turn left into Cary Tennis Park (2727 Louis Stephens Dr).
