MATCH AND DRAW FORMATS
Matches will be played both indoors and outdoors at Baseline Tennis Center. 5 minute warm-up for each match will be enforced throughout the weekend. No warm-up courts will be available. All 12 and under events will use green ball. All 18-14 event will use yellow ball.
Doubles
All doubles draws are single elimination. A playoff for 3rd and 4th will be played. All matches will play an 8-game pro set, with a 7-point tiebreak at 8-8.
Singles
All draws are full feed in. Players must lose twice to be eliminated from competition. All matches will play best 2 out of 3 sets, with a 10-point tiebreak in lieu of a full 3rd set.

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ *SATURDAY MATCHES*
Due to the Gopher Football game on Saturday, 2:30p at TCF Bank Stadium. Match play on Saturday has been scheduled at a minimum.
Any player with a match scheduled Saturday before kickoff will need to plan ahead. All roads around the area will be congested, there will be very limited to no parking around the tennis center and there will be increased foot traffic around campus. Please plan to drop players off at the front door and look for alternative parking, park a longer distance away and walk to the tennis center, or take public transit to the tennis center.
After the completion of the football game all parking lots will be available free of charge.

PARKING
Due to the close proximity of the Baseline Tennis Center to 4 major athletic venues, parking may be at event rates (up to $10.00/car) with no in/out privileges. Metered parking is available behind the building at $1.25/hr (quarters only) as available. Please consider carpooling, walking a longer distance, etc. to minimize the impact of these events. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes.

BTC Tournament Refund Policy
Refunds for tournament entry fees are offered as follows: * Prior to entries closing, players must withdraw electronically through the Tennis Link system. * After the close of entries through the business day prior to the beginning of a tournament, Baseline Tennis Center will refund entry fees for a medical/family emergency reason only. A $10 processing fee will be assessed to each refund per event. (This is based on the event fee, and does not include the $3 Internet registration fee.) * No refunds are offered for withdrawals after the close of the business day prior to the beginning of a tournament through the close of the event (i.e. 5pm Thursday for a tournament that begins Friday).

COURT SHOES ONLY- NO BLACK SOLES OR MARKING SHOES ALLOWED.
No gum and or candy on the courts.

SEEDING - The Computerized List Method will be used for seeding (FAC Comment II.A-4), based on the current standings/ranking list.

COMPETITORS LIST - ALTERNATE LIST - EMAIL
If you find your name on the alternate list, it means one of three things: 1. You did not have enough points to qualify for the tournament based on the age group you selected. 2. In the case of a Level 7, you had too many points. 3. You may have been the only player in that age group, therefore it is not being held. - Being placed as an "Alternate" means you did not qualify for the tournament based on one of the above points. - If you do not qualify for the tournament and are not selected, you WILL BE notified via the email address you provided when you registered for the tournament and your credit card WILL NOT be charged. - If you do qualify for the tournament, you WILL NOT be notified and must check the draw for start times. IMPORTANT - LEVEL 5 TOURNAMENTS All 10's events will be non-elimination format and take place on the same day. All 12's events for boys and girls within a Level 5 will be played with the green dot ball on a 78ft court. Selections will be based on the most current standings/rankings list after entries close.

Doubles will be 1 set no-ad scoring.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, September 10, 2017 9:59:00 PM Central Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
