Thank you for joining us at Kiawah/Charleston this weekend. We played 531 matches in 2.5 days and hope everyone enjoyed their time. We hope you will consider joining us again next year. We will have another Southern Level 3 played in Charleston in November. Have a great fall season!

TOURNAMENT RULES
This tournament uses conduct rules above and beyond those enforced by the USTA. Players participating in tournaments at the facilities identified are required to abide by these facility rules of behavior on and off of the court. These rules also apply to parents, coaches, siblings, and other guests of the players. The list below indicates the Tournament Rules: * No use of the word "suck" or any form of the word spoken or spelled. * No use of expressions of frustrations with references to deities (i.e. "Oh My God", "Jesus", "Jesus Christ", "Christ", "God") either spoken or spelled. * No use of "freaking", "frigging", or "fricking" or variations of such words either spoken or spelled. * No Smoking anywhere on the premises. Premises includes parking lots, bathrooms, and anywhere within 30 feet of a tennis court. Verbal rules apply to any language. We have officials on sight who are fluent in many languages. Anyone found in violation of these rules may be subject to a Code Violation and receive suspension points.

REGISTRATION 14'S-18'S
Registration will be open from 2pm-6:30pm at The Roy Barth Tennis Center(RBTC). Registration will open Friday at 2pm and Saturday at 6:45am at the Roy Barth Tennis Center for the day. If you have paid all fees for the tournament you MAY GO STRAIGHT TO YOUR SITE FOR YOUR FIRST MATCH. You will still need to fill out a medical release and turn it in to the site you are playing before you play. Please fill it out in advance to save time. If you show up exactly when your match is scheduled and need to fill out your medical release you will be considered late for your match because you are not ready to play. You can come by RBTC on Saturday to pick up your player gift, etc... PRACTICE COURTS will be available on a first come first serve basis starting Friday. We will have to close the clay courts for watering by 7pm. We have hard courts available as well.

Scoring Format for 12's-18's
All singles will play a two out of three set match with a match tiebreaker in lieu of the third set for main draw and consolation. Doubles will be a regular set to 6 with a regular tiebreak at 6 games all.

Sites 14's-18's
We are using THREE sites for the 14's-18's during the tournament. It is your responsibility to be on time for your matches. Directions to all sites will be provided at the Roy Barth Tennis Center. You can go straight to your first match site if you bring your MEDICAL RELEASE to that site. You may also fax the medical release to (843)768-6092. Please come to RBTC to register either Friday 2:00-6:30pm or Saturday 6:30am-5:00pm. The three match sites are:

SITES USED FOR 10's and 12's
12's will be played at the Charleston Tennis Center located at 19 Farmfield Ave, Charleston, SC 29407 and Porter Gaud School located at 300 Albermarle Rd., Charleston, SC 29407.
10's will be played at St Andrews Parks and Playground 1095 Playground Rd Charleston SC 29407 and Charleston Tennis Center located at 19 Farmfield Ave, Charleston, SC 29407 These sites at 10min apart not counting parking time.

Scoring for 10's
10's singles will play two out of three short sets to four games with a regular tiebreaker played at 4 games all. If split sets then a regular tiebreaker will be played for the third set. Doubles will be a regular set to six games win by two with a regular set tiebreaker played at 6 games all.

You may warm up prior to your first match on Friday at the Charleston Tennis Center. On Saturday you may warm up before matches start at the Charleston Tennis Center and Porter Gaud School. There are also several public courts in the area that are first come/first serve that you can warm up on.

Special Accommodations:
Special accommodation rates are available in one, two, or three bedroom scenic villas. One bedroom villas are $165/night, two bedroom villas are $199/night, and three bedroom villas are $219/night. Entry Violations
Entering two tournaments at the same time is a violation of the USTA rules in the USTA Southern Section, and players may be assessed five (5) junior suspension points for violation of this rule. In "Friend at Court," USTA Tournament Regulation 1 N. 11 & 12 states: 11. "A player shall not enter two tournaments at the same time. When entries close, a player shall not be entered in two or more sanctioned tournaments, if any part of the tournaments are scheduled to overlap unless each Tournament Committee involved understands the situation and concurs in writing." 12. "A player shall not enter a tournament intending to withdraw if the player’s entry is accepted in another tournament. A player shall not enter a tournament with the intention of withdrawing if the player’s entry is accepted in another tournament, unless the Tournament Committee for the tournament in which the player has entered understands the situation and concurs with the contemplated action." If a player on the Alternate list wants to enter a different tournament, he/she must withdraw from this tournament before entering another one.

***LATE ENTRIES***
There will be a $25 administration fee for all late entries. We are accepting late entries in all age groups that are not full and DO NOT AFFECT SEEDINGS. Please email jonathan_barth@kiawahresort.com with age group of player and contact phone number to be considered. A credit card number must be given when called to accept entry.

DOUBLES REGISTRATION ID#700138017 OPENS OCTOBER 6 AND CLOSES OCTOBER 8
Registration for doubles begins on Friday October 6 after the close of singles registration . Doubles play will begin Friday, October 13 at 5pm. Doubles matches will continue Saturday with the finals being played Sunday morning. Every player that signs up for doubles must be available to play 5pm matches on Friday. Doubles format will be an 6-game set with single elimination for Boys and Girls 12's-18s. Boys and Girls 10's will play an 6 game set. All players who register for singles and doubles must play doubles in the same age group as singles.

SELECTION PROCESS
Because this is a Level 3 STA Event the following process will be used: Top 32 players applying from the USTA/Southern latest standing will be selected. The names of the player who have been selected will appear as competitors. Alternates are listed in the report section. Do not refer to the alternates on the far left side of the web page after competitors have been listed. (That list is not updated). Players are allowed to enter tow divisions with these guidelines: #1 Players selected to both age divisions they apply for will automatically be selected to the older age division. They are removed from the other age division. #2 Players not selected to either divisions would remain on the alternates lists for both divisions but would be obligated top play the division they first get in from the alternates list. They would be removed from the alternate list in the other division. #3. Players selected to one age division would be removed from the alternates' list of the division they were not selected. #4. Once a player is selected for any one division no changes can be made.

Registering for Two Age Divisions

Alternates are contacted immediately when a player withdraws. Please respond promptly so we can go to the next alternate if your player is not able to play. We are working on pairing up the doubles teams through Tuesday at 2:00pm. The singles will be split into two draws on Wednesday morning. Please keep checking the website for additional information each day.

Sportsmanship Responsibilities: All parents are encouraged complete the "Parenting My Champion" sportsmanship video before their player participates in this level tournament.

Please be aware that this tournament is a 10U Youth Tennis
Progression event. This means that in order to play in the 10U division offered
you must be in the corresponding level. If you are not able to register for 10U
singles that means you are not eligible for that level of 10U. To find out more
