9/24/17 Sunday 8:55PM: Hello everyone, Today was a wonderful and successful day. It was great to see the spirit of competition and sportsmanship.. Thank you for participating. And see you next time. Have a wonderful night.
9/24/17 Sunday 6:55 AM: A reminder - There are 3rd and 4th place playoffs for both singles and doubles. 9/24/17 Sunday 6:40AM: Thank you everyone for your patience and cooperation. The tournament ran very smoothly yesterday. Thanks you, especially to parents and players who had to wait for their opponents because they went to the wrong sites. It's great to see that you want to play, rather then win by a default. Great Sportsmanship! Today, is the last day of the tournament. Let's have a great day!
9/22/17 9:05PM: Hello everyone. ALL MATCHES ARE 8 GAME PRO SETS.
9/22/17 Friday 7:4-PM: Hello everyone, The weather has changed for the past few days here. It'S very cold in the mornings and in the evenings. Please dress appropriately.
9/19/17 Tuesday 12:57PM: Hello everyone, when emailing us, please do not use "noreply@usta-active.com" confirmation email titled "Tournament Entry" to send us a message. Your email may get lost with others who are doing the same. Not sure what to put as an email title? Just include player name and purpose of email. For example: John Smith B14: inquiry (or withdrawal, or a question, or time avoidance request ....).
9/19/17 Tuesday 9:50AM: Hi everyone, The draw limit was posted on this site as 16 players for singles and 8 teams for doubles. Unfortunately, the TDM system accepted 32 players for singles and already sent out acceptance notices. It was too late to catch this error. Therefore, we have to change format to accommodate added players and not to exceed max games a player can play per day. The scheduling referee will post which rounds will be 8 game pro set and which will be 2 sets with 10-point tie breaker for the 3rd set. If you wish to withdraw at this time, please let us know by 7PM today. Email to: sylvanotennisacademy@yahoo.com
It's always a good practice to check here and your draws for changes: 1. the day of draw posting 2. a night before your match 3. right before coming out to the courts 4. make sure to check your emails for any direct communication from us

Eligibility:
This tournament is open to all USTA junior members in good standing with the USTA and are eligible to play "yellow ball" level tournament. Pathway Requirements for Competing in Tournaments USTA NorCal established a pathway for players aged 12-and-under to enter into the competitive tournament structure. The purpose of the pathway is to ensure that juniors are playing at their appropriate age and skill level. The pathway is mandatory as of January 1, 2014.
INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO CHANGE YOUR PLAYER LEVEL: 1. After you have logged into your child’s account (@ norcal usta website), you will be brought to their Junior Profile page. 2. On their profile, you should see an option to change their Junior Development Pathway. Please note: Since there are no minimum age requirements, players can stay in the Orange level until they turn 11 years old. Just because they have earned the 4 points required to move out of the Orange level, does not mean that they are required to move. If they are ready though, they can move up to Green! The only exception would be players that age out of Orange and Green. For example: If a player turns 11 years old, they will age up – having the option to choose Green ball or Yellow ball. Also, if a player turns 13 years old, they will age up and be placed into Yellow ball automatically. 3. Once you have selected to change their level, their Junior Profile should update. For questions or more information regarding the Junior Development Pathway or your Junior Profile, please contact Sofia Donlevy at donlevy@norcal.usta.com or 510-748-7327.
