READING YOUR FUTURE MATCH INFO
The future match information is now provided at the link listed above. Future Match Info. Your first match time is listed directly below your name. In the parenthesis are the projected time if you win your first match W:, or if you lose your first match L:. Draws will be posted on Thursday evening at 5pm. Please double check your times with the draw posted for your first match. We are running the tournament at 2 sites. The Maple YMCA abbreviated MaplY, and the Portage YMCA, abbreviated PortY. Addresses are listed below under the sites section. Please arrive at your correct site.

YOUTH PROGRESSION TOURNAMENT AGE DIVISION 10
The youth progression event for the youth aged 10 orange ball will be played on Saturday between 9-11:30am at the Maple Y. Your start time is listed on the Future match info link. Please look on the Future match info link to find out what time you start at. All players will play a round robin for the Youth Progression Orange ball divisions only.

Sportsmanship Agreement - Required
In an effort to increase sportsmanship and everyone's overall experience at tournaments, the USTA/Western Michigan Tennis Association is requiring all players and parents to complete the Sportsmanship Agreement once per year. Please click "more info" below to go to the Sportsmanship Agreement.

Notes
Late entries will NOT be accepted so please register before the
deadline. Thank you!
Midwest Level 4
If an age group has 3 players, a round robin will be played. The
format of play is 2 of 3 sets, with a match tiebreaker in lieu of a
3rd set.
START TIMES
Future Match Info Report will be available by Wednesday 5pm. All
start times will be listed under the Future Match Info link by 5pm
Wednesday. Please do not call or email to find out times. Matches
will begin on Friday evening at 6pm, 9am on Saturday, and 9am on
Sunday. Please plan accordingly.
The progression tournament of ages 8s and 10s will start
Saturday.
All other divisions could start as early at Friday at 6pm depending
on the size of the draws.

PRACTICE COURTS/WARM UP COURTS
Practice courts will be limited before the first round of matches
for each day. It will be a first come first serve basis. Courts
must be shared. No reservations taken. No warm up courts are
available at each site once the first round of matches begin.
PLAYER SELECTION
Player Selection will be done on Tuesday morning at 11am after the
deadline. Draw size will be according to the number of players
registered. All players will receive a minimum of 2 matches.
USTA/MIDWEST SECTION SUSPENSION POINT SYSTEM & SIGNING UP FOR
TWO TOURNAMENTS
Signing up for two events: The USTA Code of Conduct and Suspension
Point System is in effect. You are expected to play the entire
event as scheduled. The USTA/Midwest Section Junior Competition
Committee has adopted a new Suspension Point System. All players
will be given five (5) suspension points for entering two or more
tournaments that take place at the same time, in whole or in part,
unless each Tournament Committee involved agrees with the multiple
entries in writing via e-mail. This applies to all players who
signed up for the tournament including alternates.
DRESS CODE
Proper tennis attire must be worn during all tennis matches.

KALAMAZOO WEATHER
No matter the weather, the tournament will be played. Please make
appropriate travel plans especially if snow is predicted.
Player Selection TypePlayers are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry TypeEntry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Monday, January 9, 2017 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
