Here are a few important reminders--1) Please double check your match time and site--and check in 30 minutes before your first match time ready to play, 2) Bring plenty of water and ice to each match--remember, you're going to get at least two matches in each division you entered, 3) USTA point penalties for lateness will apply, 4) There are lots of important notes listed below--please take a few minutes to read them, 5) If you need to withdraw from the tournament, please email Sally Frame at sally10s@me.com with your name, cell number, division of play, etc. It's going to be a fun tennis weekend--so happy that you are playing the Lakes Tennis Academy Adult Levels and Open tournament!

Monday, January 30 11:45 PM Update
The draws have been posted--so click on the event(s) that you are playing, find your name in the draw, then notice the site and match time for your particular match. Please check in ready to play at your site 30 minutes before your first round match. Remember, this is a First Match Loser Consolation tournament, so you'll get two matches played in each event you are registered for. Between now and Saturday morning (and particularly Friday afternoon and evening) it's likely that we'll have some players pull out of the tournament--so check and double check your draw for any changes. If you are unable to participate please email your name, division of play, cell number, and reason for not playing to Sally Frame at sally10s@me.com so the draws can be updated. It's going to be a super fun tournament this weekend--thanks for playing!

Monday, January 30 1:00 PM Update
We're putting the final touches on the draws and scheduling for this weekend's tournament and everything looks great! We will post the draws later this evening so you can see your first match location and time. Please check this website for updates--we'll have lots of them for you that you'll find helpful. Just as an overview, we'll be playing the first round of Men's Open singles, and Men's 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5 singles at the Lakes Tennis Academy Friday evening with the earliest matches starting at 6 PM. We're going to start Saturday's play at 8 AM with singles matches at Lebanon Trail HS and the Lakes Tennis Academy. If you're playing only doubles you'll start on Saturday after we get through a round or two of the singles matches. Stay tuned for more info later this evening! Warm-up courts will be available at Reedy High School and Frisco High School--we'll give provide you with site maps and addresses later today.

Lakes Tennis Academy (site abbreviation LAKES on the draws) has 12 outdoor lighted courts, locker rooms, and a terrific boutique. Water is available on the courts, but it's always a good idea to bring your water jug. Snacks and drinks are available for sale in the boutique. Format
Open divisions--Men's and Women's singles, Men's and Women's doubles, and Mixed doubles--will play 2 out of 3 sets, regular scoring (with ad), with a full third set. Open divisions are "open" to all adults and also any junior players--there are no age restrictions. NTRP Levels divisions--2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, and 4.5 singles, doubles, and mixed--will play 2 out of 3 sets, regular scoring (with ad), with a 10 point Coman match tiebreak in lieu of a 3rd set. No juniors are allowed to play NTRP levels divisions. 3 new Wilson US Open balls will be given for each match.

Welcome to the Lakes Tennis Academy Adult Levels and Adult Open Singles and Doubles Tournament!
Whether this is your first tournament (and be sure to see below for how to play for FREE!) or if you are an experienced tournament player we have a division of play for you! Scheduling and Sites
We are planning on starting almost all draws Saturday morning, but in the event that we get a couple of big draws (typically Men's 4.0, for example) we may need to start Friday evening no earlier than 6 PM. Matches will be played at Lakes Tennis Academy in Frisco (have you seen the fabulous tennis shop?), Frisco High School, and additional sites as needed. All of the draws will be posted online at the tournament homepage on Tuesday, January 31--that's when you'll find out your specific match time and site.

Thursday, January 26 3:00 PM Update
What a great turnout for next weekend's tournament! Please keep checking back to this website for updates as we'll have lots of info to share. We have just posted the seeds based on the USTA Texas 12 month rolling adult ranking list updated January 24. Please take a quick look and help us double check for accuracy on the seeding. If you missed the entry deadline and would like to play, we'll add you to the "waiting list"--just email Sally Frame at sally10s@me.com with all your info (name, cell number, event you'd like to play, NTRP rating, etc.). If a spot opens up, we'll contact you.

Events and Fees
You can play doubles only, singles only, or you can play BOTH singles and doubles. The entry fee is $35 per person for singles and $30 per person for doubles. There is "First Match Losers Consolation" in all divisions, so you will play at least two matches in each division you enter. If this is your first USTA Texas sanctioned tournament and you have been or are a USTA Texas League player, you can submit a simple form and your entry fee will be reimbursed by the USTA Texas Section--see below for details.

Want to Play "for FREE"? Read the info below!
The USTA Texas Section will reimburse your entry fee if you 1) Meet the criteria in the attached link and 2) Send in the form to the USTA Texas Section. Click on the "more info" link below for complete details and feel free to email Nancy Perkins at NPerkins@texas.usta.com with any questions. The form has not been updated for 2017 yet--simple cross out any reference to 2016 and change the dates to 2017 and you'll be set.

That's right--in an effort to get even more fun-loving tennis players to sign-up to play in this tournament, we have extended the registration deadline to Wednesday at 11:59 PM. So--please take a moment and reach out to your tennis friends to remind them about this tournament! You could post a message on your Facebook page...send out an email blast--you get the idea! If you are in a division where there are not tons of players we'll be working on combining divisions--of course we'll be contacting you to see if you are OK with this. Any last minute questions:?
