TOURNAMENT FORMAT
Each division will have a maximum of 32 doubles teams. The format
will be "points of the compass", and each team will be guaranteed
three matches. 8-game pro set through the quarterfinals; best of 3
tiebreak sets with a 10-Point Match Tiebreak in lieu of the 3rd set
for semifinals, finals and playoff for 3rd and 4th place (in the
main Draw - EAST).
TOURNAMENT SELECTION PROCESS
Teams shall be selected in the order of their combined standings
using the most recently published Doubles Seeding List of the
division. For example, Player A holds the #1 standing and Player B
holds the #10 standing. The team of A&B would have the combined
standing of 11. A team with a combined standing greater than 11 is
selected after team A&B. If there is a tie, the team with the
player with the highest doubles standing on the list shall be
selected first.
All teams not selected shall be placed on an Alternate List that
are ordered using the same methods of selecting players or teams
into the tournament in above. The Alternate List shall be used to
replace withdrawing players and teams, except that a Late Entry may
not be accepted into the draw if it invalidates the seeding.
ELIGIBILITY
The tournament is open only to residence of USTA NorCal. USTA
membership is required. Players must meet the age eligibility
requirements of the division.
DOUBLES PARTNERSHIPS
Players may enter the tournament without a partner. If more than 32
teams have entered, selection shall be based on teams entered as
partnership (see selection process above). If fewer than 32 teams
have entered, all players will be selected. Players without
partners shall have until the end of day Monday before the event,
to find a partner. Please email amyjensen3107@gmail.com with both
players namesand please include both players on the email.
Players without partners as of the end of that day will be placed
on the waiting list.
SEEDING
The Computerized List Method of seeding will be used. Teams shall
be seeded byt he Tournament Committee in the order of their
combined ranking using the most recent published Doubles Seeding
list. Teams with USTA National, ITF, WTA & ATP standing and
rankings may also be considered for seeding.
LATE ENTRIES
Pursuant to USTA regulations, late entries shall be placed on the
bottom on the Alternate List in the order received. Late entries
received at the same time will be ordered by lot.
WITHDRAWALS PRIOR TO ENTRY DEADLINE
Prior to entries closing, a player may withdraw and automatically
receive a refund of your entry fee by clicking on the "Withdrawal"
link that is in the Edit Registration box at the top right of this
page.
WITHDRAWALS AFTER ENTRY DEADLINE
Immediately contact Amy Jensen if you need to withdraw from the
tournament after entries close. If the withdrawal is due to an
injury or illness after the draw is published, the USTA Regulations
require the injured or ill player to submit a written verification
from a medical professional.. If the withdrawal is due to personal
circumstances, the player must submit a written description of the
situation and the referee shall determine whether the situation is
a personal circumstance.
INCLEMENT WEATHER INFORMATION
Information on and how inclement weather affects the tournament
schedule will be posted to this website as court conditions change.
We will update this information on the hour when weather has a
potential impact on scheduling.

PRACTICE COURTS
Practice courts are available at the sites 1 hour prior to the
first match times in the mornings!
TOURNAMENT EVALUATIONS
We highly recommend that you complete an evaluation on this
tournament. Annual feedback from our participants is the best way
for us to continue the quality of the event for everyone. You will
need your USTA membership number to complete the evaluation.
