PLAYER FIRST MATCH CHECK-IN
All players must initially check in at the Family Circle Tennis Center at
least one half hour PRIOR to their first scheduled match. First matches will
begin at 5:00 pm on Friday for doubles and 8:00 am on Saturday morning for singles. Early check-in is encouraged and will be
available on Friday, February 17th from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm. If you do not
arrive on Friday before 7:00 pm, you MUST check in at Family Circle Tennis
Center at least one half hour prior to your first match. After initial check-in,
all players should report directly to designated sites for scheduled matches.
MANDATORY USTA and FAMILY CIRCLE TENNIS CENTER RELEASE forms must be signed by
each player's parent/guardian prior to first match

PLAYING FORMAT FOR BOYS' 12-18s AND GIRLS' 12-18s SINGLES
For Boys' 12s, 14s, 16s, 18s and Girls' 12s, 14s, 16s, 18s draws, 32 players
will be selected for each event and then be split into two Draws of 16 players
using the Waterfall System for selection with a full feed in Consolation through
the Quarters and 3/4 playoff. The best two out of three sets with a ten point
tiebreak in lieu of a third set will be played.

DIRECTIONS TO SATELLITE SITES
DANIEL ISLAND CLUB 715 Island Park Drive
From the Family Circle Tennis Center parking lot, turn right. Go about a
1/8 of a mile and make your next right turn at the light onto Island Park Drive.
Go straight through two round-abouts. Take next right into the Park Club. Tennis
courts on your left. DANIEL ISLAND CLUB DRESS CODE Proper tennis
attire is required. If you are scheduled for matches at the DI Club, you cannot
wear a cotton tee shirt on the tennis courts. Dry fit crew neck and collared
tennis shirts are allowed. No outside food is allowed.

LIVE TO PLAY (LTP) 1513 Mathis Ferry Road Mt. Pleasant
From Family Circle Tennis Center, turn left onto Seven Farms Drive. Go ¼ mile
to the stoplight and make a right hand turn onto River Landing Drive. This road
will take you onto I-526 going east. Go 3 miles and take the Long Point exit.
Make a left at the light. Go to the 4th stop light (1/2 mile) and turn right
onto Whipple Road. Continue straight turning right at 2nd traffic light onto
Mathis Ferry Road. Live to Play will be on the left.

MT PLEASANT REC KERR TENNIS CENTER (WHIP) 889 Whipple Road, Mt. Pleasant
From
Family Circle Tennis Center, turn left onto Seven Farms Drive. Go ¼ mile to the
stoplight and turn right onto River Landing Drive. This road will take you onto
I-526 going east. Go 3 miles and take the Long Point exit. Make a left at the
light. Go to the 4th stop light (1/2 mile) and turn right onto Whipple Road.
Continue straight through first traffic light, then turn right into tennis
center.

WILD DUNES TENNIS CENTER (WILD) 5757 Palm Boulevard on Isle of Palms
Allow 30 minutes driving time from FCTC to Wild Dunes Tennis
Center.From FCTC, take a left out of parking lot onto Seven Farms Drive.
Take a right at the first stop light onto Daniel Island Drive (ramp to 526
East). Take the second exit which is Highway 17 North towards Georgetown. Stay
in the lefthand lane bearing left on the Hungryneck flyover. Continue about 2
miles (just past the Towne Center on the left) and at the fourth light make a
right onto the Isle of Palms Connector. Take a left on Palm
Boulevard (Hwy 703 - You are now on the Isle of Palms.) Continuing straight
through the S curve on Palm Blvd., approximately 2 miles down the road, turn
right at the stop sign (still Palm Boulevard). The entrance to Wild Dunes Resort
will be on the left. Turn in and stop at the gate and let the guard know you are
going to the Tennis Center. Take the first right after the gate. Tennis Center
is on the left.

DOUBLES REGISTRATION #700018217 OPENS FEBRUARY 13 and CLOSES FEBRUARY 14
Register for DOUBLES on separate tournament page by searching using tournament id # 700018217 or clicking on link provided. You must sign up for the same division in Doubles as you play in Singles. DOUBLES registration will open on Monday, February 13, and close on Tuesday, February 14. This short sign-up window will allow players to view the Southern Singles Selection List on the Singles home page site posted on Monday, February 13, prior to deciding on whether to enter Doubles only if not selected for Singles. 1st and 2nd round of Doubles will be played on FRIDAY at Family Circle Tennis Center, LTP, and Mt. Pleasant Rec.
Saturday and Sunday Doubles will be played at the sites designated for your division of Singles.

WITHDRAWALS (READ CAREFULLY)
Withdrawal Prior to Entry Deadline: Go to the Tournament website under "EDIT REGISTRATION" on the right side of your screen and click "Withdraw". If you do not know your Confirmation #, then click "Locate Confirmation" just below "Withdraw." We cannot withdraw you, you must do this yourself. You will lose the entry fee if you do not withdraw online before registration closes. Withdrawal After Entry Deadline: Immediately contact the Tournament Referee to withdraw from the tournament. You must email your withdrawal to megphotogirl@aol.com. In the email subject line include WITHDRAWAL, your name, and division. DO NOT call to withdraw. If the player is not playing because of an injury or illness, the player shall provide written verification of the injury or illness from a medical professional no later than the last scheduled day of the tournament. There are no refunds after entries close on February 12. All withdrawals for reasons other than illness, injury, and personal circumstances or withdrawals for any reason without the proper written notification are actually defaults and Code of Conduct Reports will be completed for each defaulting player even though an alternate may take that defaulting player’s place in the draw. Withdrawing During the Tournament: You must see the trainer and get approval from the Head Referee in person. If not, it will count as a "No Show." WE WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY WITHDRAWALS OVER THE PHONE! If the player is not playing because of an injury or illness, the player shall provide written verification of the injury or illness from a medical professional no later than the last scheduled day of the tournament OR a visit with the onsite trainer will suffice.

A stringer will be available throughout the weekend at the main site Family Circle Tennis Center.

NEW for 2017 10 and under Youth Tennis Progression Levels
Please click link for explanation of new 10 and under levels effective January 1, 2017.
The 10U division will be Green Level 1 within the new Youth
Progression system parameters. Boys and Girls 10's will play on the 78 foot
court using Green Low Compression Balls and up to
29" racquet. The required scoring format for 10's singles matches,
shall be the best of two short sets - Ad
Scoring (first to four (4)
and win by two), with a set tiebreak (first to seven (7) and win by two) at 4-4
in each set, and a set tiebreak (first to seven (7) and win by two) in lieu of
the third set.

SELECTION PROCESS
USTA Southern will provide selection list. Players will be
selected directly from the USTA Southern Standing list in the age division in
which they apply. Players will no longer be considered for selection based on
their lower age division standings.

SEEDING
Seeding shall follow the USTA Southern Section seeding
regulations and will be provided by Southern with the selection list.
|
DRAWS AND MATCH TIMES
Singles Draws will be posted Thursday at 9am. Singles play will start at 8am on Saturday. The Doubles will start on Friday night 5pm. Doubles draws will be posted also Thursday at noon. Everyone will be expected to play doubles on Friday night. Doubles will play 2 rounds Friday. We will up-date alternate list first thing in the morning and before 4pm. If you are moved into main draw we will call you. If you want to be an on site alternate you must be at your age group site by 7:45am the first day on competition and sign in. The alternate with the highest ranking will receive the opening should one occur.

Please be aware that this tournament is a 10U Youth Tennis
Progression event. This means that in order to play in the 10U division offered
you must be in the corresponding level. If you are not able to register for 10U
singles that means you are not eligible for that level of 10U. To find out more
