Match Format/Balls

All matches will be best of three regular tie break sets, playing with Pro Penn marathon balls

Friday 25th Schedule

Unless absolutely necessary, Friday's matches should not start before 3:00 PM

College players discount

Verifiable college players fees: Singles: $25, Doubles: $15 for each player. Paper applications to be done at Balboa Tennis Club,
2221 Morley Field Drive, San Diego, CA. Must pay with cash or check only.

Inclement Weather

In case of inclement weather a modified scoring method will be used.

Refunds

Per USTA rule, there will be no refunds after August 18th.

Notes

For National ranking purposes only, the District Championships has been designated a 'Sectional Championship and is worth 2x the points of local tournaments.

Unless otherwise requested, players in events with less than three entrants will be moved to the next qualifying group i.e NTRP 3.0 to 3.5, Men 75 to M70.

For more accurate seeding, please email your latest playing activity. Also if you're current or recent college player identify school and playing position.

If possible, senior draws smaller than 16 will be scheduled on the last weekend.

Player Selection Type

No Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.

Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Saturday, August 19, 2017 8:00:00 PM Pacific Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
