Mercedes Prize Packages
Mercedes has generously donated 2 team prize packages for this tournament for advancement to the sectionals in Pinehurst. One of the team prize packages will be drawn from the entire participant team list (excluding open division and teaching professionals in other divisions) on Saturday evening at the social. 4 Alternate teams will also be draw.
The second team prize package will be drawn from the 4 division winners (excluding open division and teaching professionals in other divisions) on Sunday after all matches are completed. If this team prize package winner is the same as the Saturday night prize package winner, then the first alternate team that was draw on Saturday evening will receive that prize package.

Draws and Schedule Posted; Dinner Following Play on Saturday
Draw have been posted. All matches are at Cary Tennis Park.
Matches will be 2 out of 3 sets with a match tiebreak in lieu of third set.
All participants are invited to a complimentary dinner following last matches on Saturday. Each participant can invite one guest. Dinner will be catered by Tribeca Tavern and held at Cary Tennis Park at 6pm.

No Ranking Points
Players, this is just a reminder that this tournament is considered a North Carolina Adult Social tournament, therefore there will be no ranking points attached to this event. Thank you.

Participant Gifts
Each participant at a dealer tennis event will receive a Nike Sport Backpack and Tech Cap, both with the Mercedes-Benz logo.

- Rules of Eligibility and Grand Prize Information- Please Read
The Mercedes-Benz Dealer Championships is a nationwide amateur-only* tennis program for men and women, 21 years of age or older. Players will compete to represent Mercedes-Benz of Cary at the Sectional Tournament in North Carolina - Pinehurst Tennis Club, October 16 - October 20, 2016. MBUSA has reinstated the no repeat policy for the 2016 program. The winning team will be drawn at random from the winners of each division of play (excluding the Mixed Open Division) to represent Mercedes-Benz of Cary in the Sectional Tournament in Pinehurst, NC. Participants have a chance in Pinehurst to be selected as the "Grand Prize" winning team which includes airfare and accommodations to the 2017 US Open Tennis Championships. Winning players may each invite one guest (airfare at their own expense). The VIP trip to the 2017 US Open in New York City, includes access to various matches and an exclusive “Behind the Scenes” tour of the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.

Mixed Open Division Not Eligible for advancement to Mercedes Benz Dealer Championships in Pinehurst.
Mixed Open Participants are not available to advance to Pinehurst since they may be former collegiate players or teaching pros. *The MBDC Program's definition of an amateur tennis player is if the player does not receive and has not received, directly or indirectly, pecuniary advantage by the playing, teaching, demonstrating, or pursuit of the game. (The USTA Handbook of Tennis Rules and Regulations, XVII.A.1). Acts that will result in an amateur losing their eligibility, specifically relating to the MBDC Program: ~Being ranked, or previously ranked, by the ATP or WTA (includes Senior Tour players) ~50% or more of your personal income is a result of tennis related activities (teaching, instructing, or any action MBUSA considers a tennis activity) ~Currently participating in intercollegiate tennis, or currently enrolled in a recognized college or university and at one point been a member of the tennis program ~Employed by any Mercedes-Benz dealership, MBUSA, MBUSA-affiliate company, charity or program partner or sponsor, host club, or agency employee; USTA employee or USTA-affiliate; tournament volunteers; or any individual appointed to work the tournament by any of these parties, is not eligible to compete or win tournament competition prizes. MBUSA reserves the right to alter current policies surrounding the Mercedes-Benz Dealer Championships Tennis Program and is allowed to deem any participant ineligible under any circumstances.

Test Drive Program
One (1) pair of Nike Zoom Vapor shoes, valued at more than $100, will be sent to tournament participants who return to the host dealer’s showroom for a test-drive. No orders will be filled after November 30, 2016. No exchanges or substitutions.

Proceeds from this tournament will benefit the Interfaith Food Shuttle.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Wednesday, September 21, 2016 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
