INFORMATION
Rising Stars events are great opportunities for kids to gain match experience by introducing them to tournaments. Each player will receive a gift pack. PIZZA PARTY will be provided to players at 12:00. There will be other fun activities set up for the players who are waiting to play such as soccer goals, badminton, Xbox tennis game, etc... We'll try to make this an overall fun day for the kids.
USTA Spectator Expectations Provide support regardless of the match outcome. Brief positive cheering is encouraged. Encourage sportsmanship, proper conduct, fair play, and be a role model in all aspects. Parents, coaches, and spectators are not allowed on court with the exception of the coaching break during split sets. Coaches and spectators are not allowed to communicate with a player during match play. Coaching in any form is not permitted. Avoid exaggerated audible noises, negative body language, and poor reactions to match play or the behavior of other spectators.

Draw & Scoring Formats Scoring format will be the following:
Boys' 10 Division Players will be divided into two random groups of three and play round robin within the group. After this group stage, the first, second, and third places in each group will play each other in the final round.
12's Division The 12's age division will use lower compression GREEN dot ball.
12's - 14's Scoring Ten point tie breakers will be used in lieu of the third set in ALL singles matches.. All DOUBLES matches will use 8 game pro sets with a 7 point tie break at 8 games each.
10's Scoring Players will use orange low compression balls on a 60' court. Racquets may be no larger than 25". The scoring format used for this division will be: NO-AD scoring. Best of three short sets to 4 games, must win by 2 (7 point set tiebreak at 4-4) with a 7 point tiebreak in lieu of the 3rd set (must win by 2). All DOUBLES matches will use 6 game pro sets with a 7 point tie break at 6 games each. Also, NO-AD scoring.
Awards Award Certificates will be given to the winners and finalists of each division.

One day entry level tournament for players new to tournament
play. All beginner level players are encouraged to enter.
No Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.
Entry to this tournament is restricted. Please consult your Section or District rules and regulations for entry requirements for this tournament. If you enter this tournament and are not eligible, any refund is as the discretion of the Tournament Director. Only USTA members can register online if available.
