Thank You to All and Congrats to our Finalists
It's 2:17 PM on a Monday and the Midwest Girl's 14s Level 2 is in the books. We had very few trouble spots and the players were as congenial a group as you could ever ask for at an event of this caliber. We would be remiss if we did not congratulate our Champion, Kiley Rabjohns and our Finalist, Sylwia Mikos. Great job girls.

Sportsmanship Day Three
So here we are on day three of the Midwest Girls 14s Level 2. If you are still here if means you have played either 4 or 5 matches and have at least one more to go. Today our staff and officials tabbed Danielle Schoenly as the winner of the Sportsmanship Pin. After a tough weekend of tennis and getting to the last round of consolation she still had a smile on her face. More importantly one of our officials commented that she was very fair on court and that her demeanor was to be commended. Good marks for sure. Congratulations Danielle.

Sportsmanship Day Two
Here we are in day two of the Midwest Girls 14s. Likely the best part of being the referee for this event is that I get to award a sportsmanship pin each day of the tourney. On day two we will be giving the award to Shannele Lopez. For two days she has presented her smiling face at the tournament desk ready to play and willing to go to any court assigned. Congrats Shannele, well deserved.

Sportsmanship Award
In the quest to reward fair play and good sportsmanship the Midwest Section will award a Sportsmanship Pin each day of the tournament. For Saturday our winner is Alaina Kolli. This award is especially important because the player is selected by the Officials and Tournament Staff. Congrats Alaina.
