Tournament held on indoor hard courts at Reis Tennis Center,
home of the Cornell Men's and Women's tennis teams.
Match Formats:
Main draw singles matches are best of three sets and a
10 point match tie-break will be played for the third set. There is
a 2 minute on court break if players split sets and coaching is not
allowed. Doubles and singles consolation matches are 8 game
pro-sets with an end of set tie-break played at 8-8.
Online registration has been extended to Tuesday, 12/13 at 1 PM.
Doubles pairings will need to be set by Tuesday at 1 PM. Draws will
be posted on Wednesday, 12/14.
We plan to schedule first matches on Saturday, 12/17 unless a draw
is very large, in which case Friday evening matches will be
scheduled.
Players who lose their first singles match will be offered an
optional consolation round. If you wish to play doubles but don't
have a partner please email the tournament director in advance and
we'll do our best to match you with a partner.
Code Of Conduct: By registering for this tournament you agree to abide by the Rules & Regulations set forth in the USTA Friend at Court, the USTA Standards of Conduct, as well as the USTA Eastern Section's Rules & Regulations. The rules apply to parents & spectators as well; the player is responsible for their entourage. Poor behavior by the spectators may result in point penalties for the players. Poor personal behavior, bad sportsmanship or any acts detrimental to the game could prevent section endorsement.
