CHECK-IN PROCEDURE:
I
do not require a "Mandatory Meeting” Please simply show up 30-minutes
before your first match to check in and get your T-Shirt and turn in
your MEDICAL RELEASE FORM.....below is the link for the Medical Release.
Please register at your playing site 30 minutes before your first match. You will then also need to check in for each of your matches (including your first match) when you are ready to play (before your scheduled time) and stay within earshot of the tournament desk.

ON-SITE ALTERNATES
ON-SITE Alternates may be accepted into the draw, by checking in and be ready to play no later than 30 minutes prior to the first scheduled match time of the event for which they are an alternate. The order of the alternates is based on the original alternate list published by the tournament & NOT in the order in which the players check-in.

DOUBLES PROCEDURES:
It doesn't matter if you signed up for doubles when registering....AFTER THE SELECTION PROCESS...ALL PLAYERS WHO HAVE BEEN SELECTED TO PLAY SINGLES & WANTS TO PLAY DOUBLES must E-MAIL TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR TO VERIFY & CONFIRM YOUR DOUBLES PARTNER BEFORE 6:00 PM (PT) MONDAY, APRIL 17. It is not the responsibility of the tournament to match a player with a partner.

Ordered lists of Alternates and Late Entries will be listed on this website no later than five days after the tournament entries close. Alternates are ordered as follows: 1. Top 500 of division NSL (for this event) 2. Top 400 of the next younger division NSL (for this event) 3. Remainder from 501+ of the division NSL (for this event) 4. Remainder 401+ of the next younger division NSL (for this event) 5. By lot 6. Late entries in order received

MEDICAL RELEASE WAIVER FOR ALL PLAYERS
As with all NATIONAL JUNIOR TOURNAMENT EVENTS players are required to provide the USTA Release & Waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian PRIOR to their stepping on court. PLEASE UPDATE YOUR USTA MEMBERSHIP CONTACT NUMBERS:
Juniors must list their contact information for each tournament they enter. Check that your USTA Membership is current, your address and telephone numbers are correct and that you have listed alternate (work and/or mobile) phone numbers. THE TOURNAMENT STAFF MAY NEED ALTERNATE METHODS OF CONTACTING YOU REGARDING TOURNAMENT ISSUES, so please check your cell numbers and email address carefully.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT:
- Singles draws shall have 32 players; doubles draws shall have 16 teams. - All singles draws have a Feed-In Consolation (FIC) that feeds players in through the Round of 16. The quarterfinal losers will be fed into a separate draw to playoff for 5th and 6th place. The FIC shall be played to completion. The FIC shall be considered part of the tournament and participation is mandatory for all singles main draw players. - All singles and doubles draws shall have a playoff for 3rd and 4th place. All players are required to play the third and fourth place playoff. - Doubles is single elimination with a playoff match for 3rd and 4th place.
SCORING FORMATS - Boys' and Girls' 16 Divisions
- SINGLES MAIN DRAW & 3-4 PLAYOFF - Best of 3 tie break sets - SINGLES CONSOLATION & 5/6 PLAYOFF - Best of 2 sets with a "match tie break" to 10 in lieu of 3rd set. - DOUBLES - 8 game pro set with a 12 point tie break at 8 games all (First to 7 by 2)

ALL PLAYERS WILL START SINGLES & DOUBLES ON April 22nd. MATCHES CAN BE AS EARLY AS 8:00 AM OR START AS LATE AS 7:00 PM. SATURDAY - TWO SINGLES & ONE DOUBLES SUNDAY - TWO SINGLES & TWO DOUBLES MONDAY - TWO SINGLES & ONE DOUBLES

PRACTICE COURT AVAILABILITY:
PRACTICE COURTS WILL BE VERY LIMITED & WILL BE AVAILABLE
ONLY ON A FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVE BASIS.
The Tennis Center opens its doors at 7:00 AM. Play will
begin at 8:00 AM. All 15 courts will be available on a FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVE BASIS. The staff WILL NOT MAKE ANY RESERVATIONS FOR PRACTICE COURTS between 7 AM & 8 AM. Once play starts each day, there will not be any courts
available for practice at the facility. Tennis center hoppers, ball carts, ball machines, and demo racquets are not available for tournament player/coach use at that time. Reservations for practice courts can be made at Billie Jean King Tennis Center which is 3.5 miles away from the tournament site. BJKTC is a public tennis facility and has 8 courts. The fee to reserve a court is $8.00/$13.00 per hour depending on time of day.

STRINGING SERVICES AVAILABLE:
Stringing service will be available at the El Dorado Park Tennis Center or the BJK Tennis Center throughout the tournament. Our experienced and qualified staff will be available to string from 7:00 AM - 9:00 PM. The fee is $15.00 if you provide your own string. We also sell top-quality string products offered by Wilson, Luxilon, Babalot, Solinco, HEAD and Natural Gut.

GET HI-DEF VIDEO OF YOUR MATCHES!!!
During this USTA National Tournament, All matches played at the El Dorado Park Tennis Center will be recorded in HIGH DEFINITION.
These recordings will be available for purchase
by tournament competitors at a moderate cost. This is a great service which can be used as a developmental tool
to move your game ahead or simply as a historical archive of your
matches. After your match email Eric at lakewood10s@gmail.com Give the time of match & the court #. A link with the the recording will be emailed to you within a week of purchase.

AIRPORT INFORMATION:
The Long Beach Airport (LGB) is 3.61 miles from the El Dorado Park
Tennis Center. The Los Angeles Airport (LAX) is 24.2 miles through heavy
traffic & John Wayne Airport (SNA) is 19.5 miles. If you can get a
flight into Long Beach Airport or John Wayne Airport would be a whole
lot easier than LAX.

TOURNAMENT HOTEL: The Holiday Inn Airport Hotel
The Holiday Inn Airport Hotel is located 2.8 miles or 7
minutes from the El Dorado Park Tennis Center. When making reservations, ASK
for the USTA LEVEL NATIONAL TOURNAMENT. The "Run of the House" rate is $129.00 + State &

AT ALL TIMES I SHALL STRIVE TO COMPETE WITH THE TRUE SPIRIT OF SPORTSMANSHIP, RECOGNIZING THAT MY BEHAVIOR ON THE COURT IS A DIRECT REFLECTION OF MY CHARACTER. WITHDRAWALS:
Withdrawal Prior to Entry Deadline: Go to the Tournament website and click "EDIT REGISTRATION" on the right side of your screen then "Withdraw". From there you can withdraw. If you do not know your Confirmation #, then click "Locate Confirmation" just below "Withdraw." We cannot withdraw you, you must do this yourself. You will lose the processing fee if you do not withdraw online before registration closes.
Withdrawal After Entry Deadline: Immediately contact the tournament to withdraw from the tournament. You MUST email your withdrawal. DO NOT CALL TO WITHDRAW. The email is first.serve@verizon.net. If the player is not playing because of an injury or illness, the player shall provide written verification of the injury or illness from a medical professional no later than the last scheduled day of the tournament. There are No refunds for withdrawing after registration closes due to injury, illness, or personal emergency.

ENTRY FEE REFUND POLICY:
REFUNDS PRIOR TO CLOSE OF REGISTRATION. Because credit cards are not charged until after selection has been done, players withdrawing before the entry deadline are not charged the entry fee
REFUNDS AFTER THE CLOSE OF REGISTRATION: The Tournament Committee is responsible for all entry fee refunds after entries close. A Tournament Committee is only required to refund a player’s entry fee if: • the entry is not accepted; or • the withdrawal is for previously authorized entry into another tournament. Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is restricted. To see how entrants will be selected, follow the “Selection Process” link to the left. It is the player’s responsibility to check the selection list(s) after registering online to be sure that a check mark appears beside the player’s name on the list, in order to insure proper registration. Entries must be submitted by Thursday, March 30, 2017 11:59:00 AM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
