What We Are Looking For...
Athletic
skill and development, NOT just tennis technique. Beginner players are encouraged to submit
video footage so that the coaches may evaluate their movement and athletic
potential. Invite friends to
participate!
|
Selection Criteria
Players must be 7-10 years old. The primary birth years for the camps are
2006 and 2007. Players ages 7-9 who
participate in one of these camps may also be eligible based on the camp
coaches’ recommendation to attend the USTA Southern Section camps.
Early Development Camps are for orange ball players only. If you are playing at a different level, you
will not be considered for selection into the EDCs.
Player
selection is based on the following:
·
Athletic Ability (agility, balance, strength,
coordination, etc.)
·
SC standings
·
Evaluation of Player Film
·
Player recommendation (from coach or tennis
professional)
·
Sportsmanship
