Match Losers Consolation/Sign Up Consolation:
Tournament is a FMLC,
which means that any player that loses in his/her first match will be
scheduled for a consolation match if he/she chooses. This ensures that every player in the tournament will be scheduled for at least two matches (unless there is inclement weather).
Consolations are Sign Ups - If a player loses in his/her first match, he/she will be asked if he/she wants to play in the consolations.
A new backdraw will be created with players that "sign up" by indicating they would like to play.
Please return to the tournament desk after your first match and, if
you lost, let the tournament director know if you do/do not want to play
Please Be On Time!
should check in and be ready to play (warmed up, stretched, and been to
the restroom) at least 15 minutes before the match start time.
If a court is open, we will get the match started asap in order to avoid any delays later in the day!
Notes are VERY important, please be sure to read them thoroughly! New
Notes may be posted throughout the week and weekend, please check
tournament website for new notes, as well as confirm start times of next
match on the draw, well before your coming match!
10&U Orange Ball Level 1 and Level 2 tournaments will be played on 60' courts with orange balls and racquets that are 25" or shorter. Director will be checking racquets before first matches.
If it rains and matches have not yet begun for the day, matches may need to be delayed by one or more hours, or even cancelled for the day. If this happens, an update will be posted on the tournament homepage at least one hour before the time for the first matches of the day. If it rains and matches are already being played, players will be called off the courts. Tournament director will take scores and tell players when to return to finish matches. An update will then be posted on the tournament homepage. Please continue to check the tournament homepage. If you cannot get online or aren't sure, please contact Teresa at email@example.com or via call or text at 703-862-8702.
If there is rain on a tournament weekend, match formats may be shortened, consolations may be cancelled, worse case tournament may be considered complete.
