Welcome to the A's & Aces' Crescent City One-Day Championships (LTA L5)! Below is important information regarding our event:

Communication
The best way to communicate with us before the tournament is by email, NOT by phone. This is for documentation purposes and so that way we can make sure nothing gets missed. Please adhere to this request and send all questions/concerns via email to Administration@AsAndAces.org.

Tournament site
The Joe Brown Park Tennis Center (JBTC on the draws) will be the site for this tournament and is located at 5601 Read Boulevard, New Orleans, LA 70127.

The boys and girls 10s divisions will have singles and doubles divisions. The 8 & under division only has singles.

Doubles information
When signing up for doubles, you must enter your partner's USTA number. Also, BOTH partners must sign up indicating each other as partners or they cannot be placed into the draw because we cannot assume you are playing doubles if your partner lists you as his/her partner but you do not sign up.

If you would like us to try to find you a doubles partner, please email us as soon as possible (no later than by Saturday, July 16) at Administration@AsAndAces.org.

Special Rules for Boys and Girls 10's and 8's
The BG 10s division will be played on the 60' court with orange balls. Players must use rackets no longer than 25".

The BG 8s will be played on the 36' court with red balls and rackets no longer than 23".
With sufficient entries, there will be boys and girls draws. Otherwise, BG 8s will be a co-ed event.

Schedule & Tournament Timeline
Sunday, July 17, 2016 11:59 PM (Central Time): Deadline to register for this tournament or withdraw.
To withdraw go to the tournament website (you are here right now), click "EDIT REGISTRATION" on the right side of your screen, then click "WITHDRAW". If you do not know your Confirmation #, then click "Locate Confirmation" just below the "withdraw" link. We cannot withdraw you, you must do this yourself.
Monday, July 18: Entries processed and draws posted
Wednesday, July 20: Tournament play begins for all draws and concludes that day.

Tournament play will begin on Wednesday, July 20, 2016, not before 8am. Weather providing we expect to finish all matches by 5:30pm but you should be ready to play all day if need be.

Lunch option:
A Subway store is located a few blocks from the tennis center at 9954 Lake Forest Blvd.

For parents new to tournaments
After you sign up for the tournament, your credit card will not be charged until after the deadline for everyone to register for the tournament closes. For this tournament, Sunday, July 17, 2016 11:59 PM (Central Time) is the deadline and the entries will be processed on Monday, which is when your credit card will be charged.

Be prepared to play all day on Wednesday. With unpredictable weather, matches may have to be shortened, moved, etc., to adjust for such conditions. These tournaments are for the children, and we will do everything we can to help you with anything you do not know or need help with. Feel free to email Administration@AsAndAces.org with any questions before the tournament starts.

Checking in
Please have your child check in at the tournament desk at least 30 minutes prior to your child's first scheduled match time. If courts are open, we will put your child's match on sooner and help keep the tournament on schedule. Please keep in mind that there is a 15 minute default period under USTA rules. A player who does not check in by the time he/she is scheduled to play, will be put on the clock for being late and penalized according to the rules in relation to the untimeliness. After 15 minutes, the match is then defaulted and your child will not get to play the match. This is why it is so important to check in early and plan to arrive early in case there is traffic or an accident or anything that can delay you arriving early/on-time.

Seeding
Seeding is done for 10s divisions only.
Player Selection Type
No Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.

Notes
Rain Policy: In the event of rain, the tournament will reschedule matches accordingly through the day. Everyone should prepare to play under the lights. Shortened scoring formats may be used.

Refund Policy: Once the deadline for withdrawing and receiving a refund has passed, there are no refunds.
