Kildaire Farms NTRP Fall Classic (NC150/STA75)

Thanks to all who entered and played in our Fall Classic charity tournament. We appreciate your support of this cancer benefit tournament as well as the sport of tennis.

October is breast cancer awareness month. KFRS has sponsored a non-sanctioned cancer benefit tournament for 29 years. This year we have sanctioned it in hopes of getting more awareness for the tournament and the charity that we support. Banner sponsorship is available to those of you who want to promote your business or remember a friend or family member who is or has battled cancer. Please contact the ProShop at 919-467-4313 and ask to speak to Tommy Dixon if you are interested in being a banner sponsor. This is a fun tournament with midday Saturday 'games' for door prizes. There's food, soft drinks, and beer to go along with the tennis! Lunch will be provided Saturday as well as bananas, bagels, and snacks throughout the day. We will contribute a significant portion of the proceeds from this tournament to local cancer patients in need of financial help or to First Descents, which is a cancer charity that we have supported for a number of years. So, please register now and come join us for a fun tennis weekend and support this worthy cause.

When you register, you have the option of listing your partner for doubles entry. However, your partner must also register online before the deadline. Only online registrations will be accepted. No late entries will be accepted.

All NTRP players who do not have a rating must self rate before entering this event. To self rate:
1. Login to your account via the "My Account" link on TennisLink.
2. Click on "Tournaments" near the top left of the page.
3. Click on "My Quick Links" on the right.
4. Follow the self rate instructions.

If you do not have a current rating (within past 3 years) or self-rating, you will not be entered into the tournament.

If you have a league match during this tournament, we will do our best to schedule around it, but we cannot guarantee this. You MUST send an email NO LATER THAN NOON TUESDAY to the Tournament Director at kildairefarmsrs@gmail.com and copy the referee at blm10s@yahoo.com letting us know when your league match is scheduled.

A player may enter no more than 2 events, only one of which can be mixed doubles (i.e. you cannot enter 2 different mixed doubles events).

Mixed Combo 5.0-9.0 doubles players' combined ratings cannot exceed the Combined NTRP level entered and must be no more than one (1) point different in players' NTRP ratings.

Lunch will be catered by D'Nardy's on Saturday. Soft drinks, beer, and bananas will be provided throughout the tournament.

It is the PLAYER'S responsibility to know their next match time and show up in a timely manner. Check the tournament website often for updated match times.

PLAYERS MUST CHECK IN FOR EACH MATCH 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO ITS SCHEDULED START TIME.
ALL USTA RULES WILL BE ENFORCED FOR LATENESS.

All matches will be held at Kildaire Farms Racquet and Swim Club located at 162 Pebble Creek Dr., Cary, NC.

No Friday night play. This is a Saturday Sunday only tournament.

This is an adult's only tournament. You must be 18 & over to enter.

Matches may be played on both hard and clay courts.

Scoring format: 2 out of 3 tiebreak sets with a 10-point match tiebreak in lieu of a third set. The Coman tiebreak format will be used for all events.

This is a first match loser consolation tournament. If you lose your first match, you will be entered into the consolation round.

Refunds will not be given once entries close.

If you need to withdraw before entries close, you must do so online. Click on "Edit Registration", then "Withdraw". You will need your original confirmation number.

All withdrawals after "Entries Close" must be sent BOTH in writing via email (to the Tournament Director's AND Referee's address above) AND by phone to the tournament site.

Players withdrawing after the tournament deadline will not be refunded the entry fee.

If you need to withdraw from the tournament once the draws have been posted, please send an email to kildairefarmsrs@gmail.com AND call the Kildaire Farms Racquet and Swim Club pro shop at 919-467-4313.

USTA approved tennis balls will be used for all matches.

Draws will be limited to 32 players or teams.
