DOUBLES
You can register without a partner. We will randomly pair anyone who does not have a partner. We do not have facebook for finding partners. Facebook has proven ineffective for finding a partner since a lot of people wait until the last minute to register for the tournament. If you find a partner before 8:00 pm Tuesday (9/20) night, both players need to email me with your partner's name at jwahlborg1@gmail.com.
You may NOT enter a different age division in doubles than your singles. I know this is difficult when you register for two singles divisions and are not sure for which singles you will be selected. It is also a problem because your planned doubles partner may end up playing a different age division in singles and you will have to find a new partner. When making the selections, we will only select doubles players in the same age division as their singles with or without a partner. Once selections are made, you can be added to the correct doubles age division - please email me to be added to the correct doubles age division. Also, doubles pairings can be made or changed by emailing jwahlborg1@gmail.com. Please do not email/call asking for players contact information. Per USTA, Southern, and Louisiana Rules this is forbidden and we will not give ANY INFORMATION OUT. Allowing you to register for doubles without a partner, gives you the opportunity to let others know you are interested in playing doubles increasing your chances of finding a partner. By allowing you to register for doubles without a partner, you have the added responsibility to notify us if you find a partner or you want to be withdrawn. If you do not have a partner or withdraw by 8:00 pm Tuesday (9/20), you are telling us you want to be randomly paired with a partner.

ORDER OF DOUBLES SELECTION

note that the selection for doubles is in the following order:

2. Teams with one player entered in singles and one alternate.
3. Teams with one player entered in singles and one player not registered for
singles.
4. Teams with both players not registered for singles.

12 & UNDER GREEN BALL STA LEVEL 3 INFORMATION (Updated 2/17/2016 PER STA) :
As you are well aware, there has been an 11 & Under pilot ongoing to
help with the development of our players, by initiating a 11 & under Green
division. A benchmark was added to slow down the race to 12 & Under yellow,
again, for developmental purposes for the player. As of March 1, 2016, the USTA
Southern Junior Competition Committee is taking the next step. The “benchmark”
will be eliminated. Therefore, the following will take place:
* For events with deadlines past March 1, you will be able to enter 10 &
Under Orange, 11 & Under Green, or 12 & Under Yellow as long as player
is age eligible.
* Player will be able to enter two divisions ( 11 & Under as well as 10
& Under, 12 & under as well as 11 & Under etc). You will still only
play one divison however.
* Selection will be done as all selections for 12 thru 18’s.
* Bottom line, if you enter two divisions, you will be considered for the upper
division first and if not selected, then the lower division. You must play
where selected.
* Selections will be based on the player’s standing.
* For those entering 11 & Under Green, the 12 & Under standing will be
used for selection until April 1st. At that time an 11 & Under
standing/ranking will be used.
* Draw size will be 16
* Now the choice will be left up to the coach/parent/player on what division to
enter. Please remember though, selection will be based on standings.
