Seeding Method
The following factors were using in Seeding: Universal Tennis
Rating,Southern California Standings and the USTA Rating System.
Seeding
is the system used to separate the top players in a draw so that they
do not meet in the early rounds of a tournament.

10 FWY at Indian Hill Blvd. you will make a left at the first street SOUTH
of the 10 freeway at Auto Center Drive. (Landmarks for RTC are McDonald's,Motel
6,Chevron, Starbucks, Denny's) Across the street from NORMS Restaurant. Yahoo
maps and Mapquest don't take you directly to the club, follow these directions
after you exit the FWY.

UHS=Upland High School
USE THE MAP(click on more info) DON'T USE GPS AS IT MIGHT
TAKE YOU TO RIALTO. THE SCHOOL IS IN UPLAND NOT RIALTO. Upland HIgh School's
courts are on Foothill Blvd. The school address is on 11th street. The courts
are on the north side of the school on Foothill Blvd. The courts are across the
street from 24hr. FITNESS.

CIT=Citrus College
After heading North on Citrus Ave. Turn Right at Citrus College/Foothill Blvd. into Citrus College parking lot and park in front of The Range and walk to the tennis courts behind The Range from there.

NEW ELIGIBILITY RULES 2016 LEVEL 5 EVENTS
Starting January 1st, 2016 for ages 12-18's players who
are ranked in the top 50 will not be allowed to participate in Open
Level 5
events. These events are meant for players moving up from Level 6 but
not
quite ready for higher level events. (Players can play up in the next
higher division if ranked in the top 50 of their age group) This does
not apply to 10 & under divisions.

2016 SCTA POINTS PER ROUND RANKING
For Southern California open ranking purposes, this tournament is a
SCTA Level 5 event. For 2016 tournaments, Level 5 points will be
awarded based on draw size for each individual event.

SCTA Section Suspension Point System
The SCTA Section Suspension Point System prohibits signing up for two events: Ths USTA Code of Conduct and Suspension Point System is in effect. You are expected to play the entire event as scheduled. The SCTA Section Junior Competition Committee has adopted the USTA National Suspension Point System for 2015. Please refer to Friend at Court pages 133 and 134, Table 18 for more information.

10 & Under Divisions
All 10 & Under matches will be played with the “Green” Ball (or
Green Dot Ball) on a standard sized 78’ court. There is no racquet
restriction with this ball.

Tournament Balls
This tournament will use the Penn Championship Balls.

Dress Code
The Tournament and all officials of this event
would like to inform the players of our expectations of proper attire while
competing in this tournament. GIRLS: No sports bras or
compression shorts are to be worn alone; midriff must be covered when arms are
at rest, and spandex shorts must be covered by additional shorts or
skirt. BOYS: No cut off t-shirts, or cut off shorts. Sleeveless tennis
shirts may be worn. No reference to drugs, violence, alcohol, or foul language
may be depicted on player attire.

Match Format
All Singles Matches will be best of 3 sets with a Match Tiebreak in lieu of a 3rd set. All Doubles Matches will be a 8 games Pro set with a tiebreak played at 7 games all. Thank You!!!

Scheduling
You are expected to play the entire event as scheduled. Thank You!!!

Practice Courts
Practice Courts will only be available before the 8am matches.Thank You!!!
|
Trophies awarded to semi-finalists in all singles divisions.
T-shirts to all participants. Refunds only given to players who
withdraw at least seven days prior to tournament start date.
Please be sure to put down your contact info when entering online.

No Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Monday, November 14, 2016 11:59:00 PM Pacific Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
