CONSOLATION ROUND ROBIN
ANYONE WHO LOSES IN THE FIRST WEEKEND IS INVITED TO PLAY IN A CONSOLATION ROUND ROBIN. THIS WILL TAKE PLACE ON THE SUNDAY DEC 18TH. (IF WE HAVE RAIN THIS WILL BE CANCELLED) I WILL NOT KNOW WHAT TIME UNTIL I KNOW HOW MANY SIGN UP. THIS IS NOT FOR RANKING, IT'S JUST FOR EXTRA PRACTICE. AGES MAY BE COMBINED AND ALSO GENDERS. SIGN UP AT THE PRO SHOP OR EMAIL ME IF YOU WANT TO PLAY. THERE WILL BE TROPHIES FOR THE WINNERS & FINALIST. (YOU CAN NOT PLAY IN DOUBLES AND THE ROUND ROBIN IF YOU ARE STILL IN THE DOUBLES ON THE 18TH.)

Level 6 Tournaments
If you have won three (3) Level 6 (satellite) tournaments by winning three (3) or more matches within those tournaments, you should:
1. Play Level 5 tournaments in the same age division. or 2. Play Level 6 tournaments in the next highest age division.

Recording of your Tennis Match!!!
All matches played at Lakewood & El Dorado Park Tennis Centers will be recorded in HD.
The recordings, delivered by email for purchase by
tournament competitors at a moderate cost. This is a great service which
can be used as a developmental tool to move your game ahead or simply
as a historical archive of your matches. Check in at the Pro Shop (or Video table) to
find out how to order yours. If you think you would like your match recorded, please email me so I can schedule your match at Lakewood or El Dorado Park Tennis Center.

MATCH FORMAT
ALL MATCHES WILL PLAY A BEST OF 2 SETS REGULAR SCORING, TIE BREAK AT 6 GAMES ALL. IF YOU SPLIT SETS YOU WILL PLAY A "MATCH TIE BREAK UP TO 10" IN LIEU OF A THIRD SET.

DOUBLES
THE DOUBLES WILL BE PLAYED THE SECOND WEEKEND. WE WILL TAKE DOUBLES ENTRIES UNTIL SUNDAY DEC 11TH. (AFTER ONLINE DEADLINE YOU WILL HAVE TO email or call TO ENTER DOUBLES) ALL DOUBLES WILL BE A BEST OF TWO SETS WITH A 10 POINT TIE BREAK IN LIEU OF A THIRD SET.

10 & Under Divisions
All 10 & Under matches will be played with the “Green” Ball (or Green Dot Ball) on a standard sized 78’ court. There is no racquet restriction with this ball.

2016 SCTA POINTS PER ROUND RANKING
For Southern California open ranking purposes, this tournament is a SCTA Level 5 event. For 2015 tournaments, Level 5 points will be awarded based on draw size for each individual event.

Seeding Method
This level 5 & 6 event will use the latest SCTA Rankings for seeding.

For Southern California ranking, this is a Level 5 event. If you
have a time conflict, you must let the director know before draws
are made. Refunds only given to players who withdraw at least seven
days prior to tournament start date. Probable sites include
Lakewood Tennis Center & El Dorado Park. NOTE: 10 year old
divisions will play a "Match Tie Break" in lieu of a third set.
(first to 10 by 2) The 10 year olds will also use the "green dot"
ball.

No Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Monday, December 5, 2016 11:59:00 PM Pacific Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
