Notes
UPDATE AS OF THURSDAY, DEC 15 AT 4:30 PM: The draws have been
posted, so please check them for your match times. There are a few
back draw match times which are not yet scheduled, but they will
play on Sunday and we will know the times for those matches by
late-Saturday evening. Also, because snow is in the forecast for
Saturday (and possibly Sunday), please plan your commute
accordingly to account for slower roads, traffic and weather
conditions - and arrive at the club in plenty of time for your
match. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the
Tournament Director, Steve Haas, at 630-660-1943. Thank you, and we
look forward to seeing you at the tournament!
Please read through this homepage before signing up for the
tournament as many questions are addressed here.
This is a reminder that the draws are limited to 8 players which
will be selected based on the current USTA/Midwest Standing List.
If you were not selected you may be an alternate.
G12s and G16s, we regret that your divisions are canceled. We
emailed your contact email regarding this. G12s, if you want to
play up to our G14s, please call or email us and let us know before
the deadline. G12s is also available that weekend at College Park.
G16s, there are two other events you may check out: Midtown
Palatine or Winnetka. Again, we apologize for this
adjustment.
Although this is a one day plus event, based on the number of
participants who sign up, players may need to play multiple matches
on the 2nd day (rather than just the finalists on the 2nd day).
Draws will be limited to 8 players so that the events finish in 2
days. Players are selected using the most current Midwest Standing
List.
GET SIGNED UP/WHY WAIT?:
Please do not "wait" for other players to sign up. This is
something that circles back and then few people sign up until the
last minute. If you are free and want to play...sign up. Other
"waiting" people will see names and then sign up too and
Tah-Dah...we have a nice draw with healthy competition for
all!
FIRST MATCH START TIMES:
Once the draws are posted, please click to find your times there.
We do not email or call participants to tell them times. It is the
player's responsibility to find that on the tournament home
page.

the registration is still open. If registration has closed and the
tournament has not yet begun, please email/call the Tournament

reason for your withdrawal. If the tournament has started, please
call the club and speak directly with the Tournament Director.

selections have been made, the only reasons that are accepted by
the USTA Referee without incurring FIVE (5) suspension points are
injury, illness, or a family emergency.

the entry deadline.
SIGNING UP FOR TWO EVENTS/MIDWEST SUSPENSION POINT
SYSTEM:
The USTA/Midwest Section Suspension Point System is in effect. You
are expected to play the entire event as scheduled. All players
will be given FIVE (5) suspension points for entering two or more
tournaments that take place at the same time, in whole or in part,
unless each Tournament Director involved agrees with the multiple
entries in writing via email. The applies to all players who signed
up for the tournament including alternates.
FORMAT:
Regular scoring, 2 our of 3 sets with a 10 point tiebreaker in lieu
of a 3rd set.
USTA CONTACT INFORMATION:
Procedure for tournament registration: because of Privacy Laws,
your contact information from USTA membership does not show up in
the Tournament Director's software anymore. Only what you indicate
during the registration process shows up. We have no way of
contacting you if you leave those fields blank when signing up.
This means, for example, if your opponent withdraws at the last
minute due to injury, illness, or a family emergency you might make
a trip to the tournament and not need to if we had a way of
reaching you. You must indicate all phone numbers, home and cell (a
MUST), email addresses and more for each USTA tournament
registration, EACH and EVERY time, for each and every tournament
you enter, even if you have played a tournament with Naperville
before.
QUESTIONS?:
Please call/email Naperville Tennis Club (630)355-5600 or
info@napervilletennis.com. Make sure you reference the name of the
tournament, player's name, and age group as we do have a lot of
tournament overlap.
Messages
Tournament Fee includes T-Shirt and trophies for winners. Please wear non-marking tennis shoes and have just water to drink on the courts.
