IMPORTANT MESSAGE --
Update October 13, 2016
We hope everyone effected by Hurricane Matthew is safe.
We are rapidly getting back on our feet following the storm. While
there was considerable damage on and around Seabrook Island, the
Racquet Club did not sustain much damage. Our courts are all back
in pristine condition.
Currently we are considering several options including rescheduling
the entire tournament prior to the end of the year. If we are able
to reschedule, all registered competitors will be notified. There
are many components involved when hosting a tournament the size and
quality of the Fleming. As always, we expect it to be the best all
around tournament experience of the year for our players and
guests. Our plan is to reach a decision by early next week. Your
continued support is greatly appreciated.
Important Announcement:
Tuesday, October 4th 1:10PM
Due to potential hurricane force winds, flooding and dangerous
road conditions that may result from Hurricane Mathew, the 2016
Fleming Tennis Championships will be cancelled for this weekend.
Unfortunately this is the first time in the 33 year history of the
event that this has occurred. We will provide additional
information including possible rescheduling of national and all
other events. We apologize for the inconvenience that this may
cause. While this is a very difficult decision, we feel this is the
best course of action for the safety of the players.
