General Info and Directions to Tournament Site
All matches will be played on hard courts, 8 lit and 2 not lit. The facility has seating but is limited so SPECTATORS ARE ENCOURAGED TO BRING LAWN CHAIRS TO WATCH THE MATCHES.
Myrtle Beach Tennis Center is located at 3302 Robert M Grissom Parkway Myrtle Beach, SC 29577. The courts are behind Myrtle Beach High School. DO NOT enter the main entrance to the high school. Enter through the bus entrance which is located next to the electronic MBHS sign. You will see underneath there is a small logo...Myrtle Beach Tennis Center.

Tournament Check In
All participants must check in at Myrtle Beach Tennis Center at least 45 minutes prior to their first match. Check in at least 30 minutes prior to all other matches. Better to have the player waiting than have empty courts.

Start Day and Time
Tournament will start Saturday with first matches beginning at 9 AM. Match times will be posted by Thursday afternoon 5 PM.

WARM UP PRIOR TO TOURNAMENT
WARM UP ON TOURNAMENT COURTS WILL BE ALLOWED FROM 8-830 AM SATURDAY AND SUNDAY. AFTER THIS ALL WARM UPS BY PLAYERS CANNOT BE ON TOURNAMENT COURTS. ASK AT CHECK IN DESK FOR DIRECTIONS TO ADDITIONAL SITES.

Scoring Format By Levels
12s,14s, 16s, 18s main draw and consolation matches will be a third set match 10 point tie break in lieu of the 3rd set. Main draw matches will be regular scoring and the consolation draw will be no add scoring. Boys and girls 10s (ORANGE BALL) will be played based on the 10-under format with no add scoring. This level will play two short set of 4 games each (ahead by 2 games), with a 7 point tie break at 4 games all. If both players win a set they will play a 7 point tie break to decide the match. All doubles will b 8 game pro sets with a 7 point tie break at 8 games each.
GREEN BALL SCORING Best of 3 tiebreak sets (NO ADD SCORING) with a 10-Point Match Tiebreak played in lieu of 3rd set.

3 Minute Coaching Break
3 Minute Coaching Break When playing a best of 3 sets match with a match tie-break in lieu of the 3rd set, players who split sets are entitled to a 3 minute coaching break. Coaching must occur on court or at the fence line of the court. Cell phones may be used during the break. Bathroom break can be requested AFTER the coaching break-if player elects to use the restroom during the break, he/she forfeits the coaching opportunity

Balls
All age divisions will be using Wilson tennis balls.

Lunch
Bojangles will provide lunch around noon on Saturday for all players. Sunday's lunch is to be determined.

Awards
Awards will be given to the Champion and Finalist in each age division.

South Carolina Tournament Level 4-Challenger: Beginning January 1, 2013, all CHALLENGER tournaments in SC will offer both yellow ball and green ball divisions for 12U play for the purpose of transition from the 10U orange ball. The 12U Green division is designated by "Quick Start: 12U" on the registration page. Play in the 12U green ball division will count toward the player's Current Standings.

All parents are strongly encouraged to view the "Parenting My Champion" sportsmanship video before their player participates in SC L4 or L5 tournaments. In addition, we encourage all parents to view the video, regardless of the level of experience or level of play the player is currently competing.

No Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Monday, February 29, 2016 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
